My pods arrived today and they are absolutely amazing quality they are plump and very fresh full of seeds and such a great price. so of course half are already soaking for homemade vanilla extract yummy x

Bought for Grandson learning to cook crème brûlée, extremely happy with results!

Bought for part of a present for someone else, but they made some real custard (crème anglaise) with one, when I last visited. Was really fragrant and a lovely flavour. Great value. I will be buying again.

Update. I've just received my second order. The first batch of 30 beans weighed 154 grams I used 134 grams on extract and then decided to make 2 of the batches double fold, I ordered 10 more beans based on my previous experience. However the new beans are smaller and the 10 beans weigh 34 grams. I'm going to have to order more beans.Really impressed with these beans. Really plump, they were too long for the bottles I was going to use for extract as didn't want to cut them, so you'll need bottles than will take a 21.5 bean if you don't want to chop them up. Can't tell you how they taste as they're currently in about a litre of spirits, although they did smell fab.

Why buy a tube of 2 supermarket vanilla pods when, for not a lot more, you can get a packet of 10? It's a no-brainer.
