Got these for replacements, mainly for my hiking shoes which go through quite a bit of punishment! These laces are very good. They're good quality, thick and sturdy. They fit onto my shoes really well and they're easy to tie. After a lot of use, these laces are still in good condition despite having been through some tough conditions. Good value for money. Recommended.

I need laces to replace on my hiking boots... Looked around and I liked the look of this company... The laces are really nicely made and the colourway is fantastic I might buy other colours for my other boots... They feel robust and durable... Also a good price... Compared to what the makers of boots wanted for laces more than double the price of these....

Good thick lace that stays tied but starting to show signs of fraying within first month which is a little concerning! Will add comment as they get older... ..Early wear has not increased, remain strong and remain tied. Good solid laces apart from early concern.

Quality seems very good for the price. Let's see how long they last.

I’ve bought Meindl Respond walking shoes for many years as I’m on my 4th pair and of their only weaknesses is that the aglet on the ends of the laces eventually falls off and the laces then fray and deteriorate. I used to drive to a well known camping shop to buy replacements (if they had any on the shelf) but in these days of trying to be green I thought I would try buying online to save travel miles. These are a perfect fit and I can’t seen any difference between these and original Meindl laces other than they’re a lot cheaper. I will buy these again.
