The Great Airport Mystery (Hardy Boys, Book 9)

I get these Hardy Boys books for my 11-yr-old grandson who loves to read. He loves these because they are mysteries that he enjoys solving. His mom, my daughter, and I read Nancy Drew books when younger. I'm so happy that Amazon carries these at a good price! I plan on getting him the entire set.

I realized as I organized my collection that this volume was missing. I thought I had read all of the original books but needed this to complete my collection. This is an easy read and a good story.

I purchased this book for my 10 year-old son, who loved it. This is his review:Great book. This is an exciting story of two perfectly selected characters going on a very exciting adventure. When you read this book, it really sucks you into the story. It involved travel to several places that would stand out on the uninhabited list of places. There are many exciting events involving suspicion, action, clever, and not so clever thinking from both sides of the constant battle. Robberies, criminal hideouts, weapons, "ghosts", you name it all. Overall, this has got to be one of the best books on the market.

I honestly wish sellers would give more details about book at purchase and simply not just condition of books. I read entire series in its revised form and out of all this is one of my five favorite. I ended up getting an edition from 40's when I ordered telling somewhat of a different story but equally enjoyable in spite of same title. I have discovered these original editions tend to reflect some negative prejudices of times but have far better characterization.

The Hardy Boys series is always good, clean reading. I enjoy reading them with my grandson’s. Both the third and sixth graders can read them successfully and enjoy them.

The flavor of the story is classic. The updates of the story keep it current without detracting from the story line. I liked it.

It was amazing to be able to find this original Hardy Boys book.I bought it for my grandson as he enjoys the Hardy Boys as much as hid dad did when he was the same age.
