Were you ever reluctant to leave your casino machine for an espresso ? Because it takes so long to get someone to lock, and then unlock, your machine --or simply flag down a waitress ? Well, problem solved. Very decent espresso, ground or pod, ! Very portable. I only wish it came with a custom carrying case and an extra device for ground coffee. I ordered another company's carrying case and will order Cera"s extra grounds container when available. Not a big fan of pods, usually not very fresh and sometimes negative effect on the environment. But this little machine solves an annoying problem and will eventually pay for itself. Only mistake I made is following another blogger*s advice to get the cream color. It's the usual awful brown/gray taupe. (Wish I had ordered white). But that"s on me, not the product. Will test if really leak proof, unlike some "leak proof" containers I have ordered. That would truly make it a wonderful buy !! Update: It appeared leak proof on a short trip; will test further on a longer trip and update. But really glad I bought it, especially now in hurricane season. Update 2: We recently had 2 power outages, about a week apart. The first one lasted about 5 hrs. The second one was actually twice during the same day, for 2 to 4 hrs. each. I made use of the portable espresso maker on both days. It was great!! Now, (reluctantly) on to the worst hurricane season ever predicted... This machine is small and a tiny part of climate change preparation. (I do want to say, I know Cera has their own custom case, but not with the deal I was offered. If the case and machine are offered on sale, grab it )!

i have an old version of this from just a few months ago —- The capsule container won’t open. - you need to close this tight so it doesn’t leak- and i’ve been doing it fine for months -suddenly it’s stuck and i can’t open it at all- and i’ve tried everything to open it but it won’t budge - even waiting for weeks to let it extra cool down (when it leaked and gets super hot it expands and is hard to close)anyway i bought a new one end of sept 2022 and i see the new one is updated!!!! i don’t know why they don’t mention it on this page but it’s definitely different - the capsule holder now has ridges which makes opening and closing easier - the feel is secure and feels more solid in material as you screw it’s on- - no leak at all/ very simple and reliable - i’ve used it weeks now and it doesn’t have all the issues as before with leakage and sensitivity as to how to close it. It was a big pain before but not it’s been very consistent and reliable - and easy to usei’m scared over time this one will stop working also though/ only time will tell but it seems the manufacturer understands there was issues and improved on it greatly which is awesome because when it works it is an amazing product- i keep trying to stick with this product because i want to buy them as gifts for my staff and clients but i can’t when it’s not reliable -i was able to get a refund on the old one - i think since it was before one year - and it was defective. so i feel confident now in this purchase and just pray it will last a year at least but hopefully longer of courseit’s wonderful for travel or on the road - i’ve been using it at home also but i will get an actual home machine soon because i want this one to last as long as possible. it’s really a blessing for coffee obsessed on the go person like me

The media could not be loaded. I'm a Nespresso pod user and a coffee snob, so when I travel I always bring the Cera+ with me. The most important thing is that it's a complete system - just add water, and a pod or ground coffee. It heats the water, has a high pressure pump, and a cup for your coffee. As you can see in the video it makes a nice crema and the final product is indistinguishable from my home system. I'm in Pensacola FL writing this after using it throughout my trip and I'm really happy with its performance.Be aware that it’s messy to use. The part that holds the pod requires quite a bit of force to mate against the pump. If you don’t screw it in tightly it will leak instead of dispensing the coffee. Also the charging port cover is tough to open. The biggest annoyance is that it’s finicky about what charger it uses. Although the port is USB-C, it will “pretend” to charge if it isn’t a short high performance cable. It will only work on 5V 3+ amp chargers, so I find I have to stick to the cable it came with.Overall it's a solid effort and I use it frequently.

This is unbelievably easy to use, and it produces a great shot of espresso. I got it because I got tired of going to coffee shops when I travel and getting a bad cappuccino. When you use the self-heating function, it only lasts for 3-4 pulls, so if you have the availability to warm up the water beforehand, the charge will last a lot longer. It's not super fast charging, but it's not horrible either.Important safety tip: Some people stated that it doesn't pierce the top of the capsule and that they have resorted to puncturing the capsule before inserting it. Don't do that! The design of this device is such that, when the pressure gets high enough inside the device, it properly punctures the capsule and (because of the pressure) gives an excellent pour. Note: You'll hear the distinct *POP* just before it starts to actually press out your shot.I wish I'd gotten this years ago; I'd have saved myself so much money and aggravation.

It works perfectly fine as described, but the 10 times beeping sound when the hot water is ready and the noise while forcing the water through can be annoying and disturbing if you try to make it in a quite space like library.However I still recommend it as it functions flawlessly and takes less than 10 mins to provide you with a hot shot of espresso.Also works during charging process.I’ve been using each capsule twice and haven’t experienced any issues so far.Make sure that you remove the cup before the coffee being poured in it, otherwise it spills out.

It is good to use when you use hot water to extract the coffee. But putting cold water to warm it up, it doesn't work. I tried many times.It's only a week that I purchased this.

Is it possible to exchange the device or the battery or anything can happen?

I used this coffee maker twice only, no the machine is not charging and even it’s on usb it doesn’t work, it seems the battery not charging?Is there possibility to change the battery?
