Form and function
This is a stylish and functional alternative to all the ugly, institutional grab rails that are normally inflicted on the old and infirm. Just because we need a bit of help, it doesn't mean we have to put up with something that belongs in a hospital washroom. It would be great if there were alternative styles, but that would be greedy. I have some similar bought some years ago from B&Q, which were polished chrome. These have a more matte finish.
