One screw attaches it to any wood or metal surface. Really strong magnets. Very few hand tools that are too heavy for the magnets to hold. No looking to hang tools on hooks. Just slap them up and they are hung. They have made my life easier. I can easily grab tools without opening tool- box drawers, or having them snag on hooks or miss the hooks when I hang them. Worth the money if you have tools that you repeatedly use. I have two workbenches and I hang a dozen of the same tools I always use at each bench. These will adhere to steel surfaces, but they will move when you go to remove your tool. If you want to use these on steel surfaces and don't want to drill a hole, then you would need to use some kind of adhesive on the back. For steel surfaces that you want to use magnets on you need rare earth magnets. These stick to the steel surface that you apply them to with the same force that they will hold. If you buy rare earth magnets, buy them from a site that lists their size and how much they hold. They cost more, but they work on any steel surface.

I bought this magnet to mount my outdoor Nest Camera to the underside of the gutter. This magnet is inside the gutter and the Nest Camera base is on the underside of the gutter. It is strong enough to support the weight of the camera. Saved me $10-30 for gutter-mounted bracket. Since it is just a magnet, moving the camera is much easier. Time will tell if it sustains Florida's hurricane. I am very happy with this product. Highly recommended.

I intend to use to hold wrenches next to my drill press and other equipment for convenient access. These magnets are more than strong enough for that task. I do not know if they would hold 150lbs. or not, but I could not pull straight off of my fridge. had to slide or pull up on one end to remove. So be careful to not let them slap together they could shatter. Deffinitly keep out of reach of children these are not for playing with. Very strong magnets! I would not be afraid of them just be cautious around children so if shattered that they are not swallowed, that could be life threatning for anyone. Not that an adult would eat them but then again who knows anymore what someone might do.

Used two magnets to sew into a curtain to hang on a metal wall. They work wonderfully without sliding down the wall from the weight of the curtains. They’re almost too strong for my purpose but I’m sure I’ll find a good use for the remaining magnets. They’re heavy duty.

I got these for my AC condenser to hold a winter hard plastic cover over the top. I had to add 2 strips of tape under each one to make it able to remove!! The tape made it just perfect enough to hold but easy enough to remove in the spring. Crazy strong. Loved the screw on system.

The product is as described. The magnets are very powerful, the fixing hole is very appropriate for different uses. In my case, I bought them to fix a radio that I bought in my MiniVan, the screen is very large and the original fixation cannot be used. Then place two magnets on the back of the radio and a sheet of steel inside the DashBoard. When inserting the radio into the cavity I do not need any fixation since the magnets stick to the steel sheet and it is as firm as if it were fixed with screws. It was a stroke of luck to find these magnets on Amazon. They have a great price and can be used for numerous applications.

Bought these to hold up some plastic curtains in a steel building I own. I didn't what to permanently install the vinyl sheets so I used these on the inside steel siding. Worked great, nice strong magnets for a good value.

These are as stated,very strong..don't let 2 of them find each other fully, it will take a wooden or plastic wedge to part them,you will not for most part be able to slide them off each other,I know they did it to me..lol
