Exactly what I was looking for
Exactly what I was looking for. Be aware that you will need a suitable saw, like a hacksaw, to cut this to measure, and some sandpaper or a file to smoothe the edges.

Brass plating is very thin and not uniform
The brass plating is very thin and not uniform so there are what looks like dirt marks (but it is not dirt) and very fine scratches. I tried polish and brass cleaner but it made very little or no difference. I guess when the wardrobe is full of clothes it won't show. I have no idea who is William Hopkins but this product does not do them any favours.
