Adequate for the Money
I needed a cheap massage chair delivered fast, and I'll give them this: This chair arrived very fast! Ordered on Friday and arrived in Scotland Monday. Excellent considering the "expected delivery" was Friday.Unfortunately the product itself leaves a few things to be desired. I'm comparing this to previous professional chairs I've had like the Ergolite Pro II, so it's fair to point out I'm going from a £300 product to a £65 one:1. In its default position seat slopes *backwards*, away from the chest pillow (Picture 1). This is the exact opposite of how a massage chair should operate; you need your client to naturally let their weight fall into the chair, not away from it. This can be remedied by putting it up on a little wibble for that purpose (Picture 2) but that does lead to problem 2:2. The point of the armrest is to take the weight of a client's arms off the shoulders, but it sits so low they do not perform this function when the seat has been set to slope forward, at least for anyone above a certain height. This is because the armrest's position is set to be perpendicular to the ground and can't be changed (Picture 4). You'd have to stick something in the hinge to jam it higher which will be difficult if you're on the go / doing site massage. However, it is comfortable enough to use for 10 minutes or so of massage. I'm not sure I'd do full treatments on it, but for the cash it's an acceptable stop-gap.
