Good linear supply for transmitters.
Noisy fan that kicks in every 15-30 minutes.

Really good PSU for the Ham Shack.

Recommend this PSU for radio use
Awesome power supply, I use it with my FT991A, no RF noise, the fan is quite loud, but it only kicks in every now and again

Nicely built, stable
Nicely built, stable, what more could we ask. Heavy, but then these all are. Clear display and seems pretty accurate with relation to the Current and Voltage meters. The backlight on the meters is very bright which makes them very easy to read. I would prefer digital meters on a nice LCD screen if your listening :-D But overall great value for money. Only one downside, the fan does get a little on the noisy side, but it cuts on and off so not a massive issue.

Good value PSU
Heavy, robust PSU. I have found that the readings on the voltmeter are accurate at 13.8v but at lower voltages the readings are 20% out. Fortunately the readings err on the generous side i.e. a reading of 3v when voltage is only 2.4v so you wont blow anything up!There is a bit of transformer hum and I haven't driven it hard enough to activate the fan.I chose this over a cheaper switched mode power supply to prevent any noise at RF.

Rock solid psu
Has dropped noise on my rig 2 pounds! So impressed, smashes switched psu"s into next week. Actually prefer analogue meters on the front over digital, looks old school. Rock solid voltage, and the cigarette socket 12v is great for testing mobiles etc. Would be nice to see some USB ports on the front panel, but would absolutely not miss these considering the excellent price.

Loud transformer hum
Not quite sure whether I've gotten a dud here, very audible hum even when not pulling power, seems worse as time goes on. Only pulling 8A on current equipment so not experienced the loud fan that others complain about.Otherwise, it's a nice looking bit of kit.I'll see if I can put up with the hum, otherwise it might be going back :(
