Very useful to have several of these for a studio set up.
I have bought several traveling palettes in different sizes all with lids. At the moment I don't travel with my paints so that turns out to be a feature I don't need. Then I saw a picture of another watercolor artist's studio and she was using 3 of these and the set up she had looked so useful. I can put a different set of colors on each one, bright colors on one and darks on another. There are lots of options. These are for watercolors and not acrylics, I can't imagine how hard it would be to get dried acrylics off this surface. Metal butcher trays are better for acrylics. Oils might work on these but I don't know for sure.
