I love this. I bought it for my daughters room and it is loud enough for me to be noisey after she falls asleep. Vacuum, dishes, tv... nothing wakes her up with this thing in her room.It does have the sound of a fan, not the recorded fan thing. It is real air.The touch light feature is nice but I dont use it much and all of the buttons are touch screenish. No “click” sound when you push them.I am buying another for my room.

UPDATE: the fan portion stopped working within a month and the unit gets really hot. I have been using it as a nightlight for some time now. My daughter apparently pressed the fan button sometime during the night and when I got her up, her room smelled like burning electronics. I could hear a faint buzz and picked the unit up and actually burned my hand it was so hot! Don't buy this product and stop using it if you have one. It should be taken off the shelves, which may be the case now since it us showing up as unavailable.Original Review:I don't like electronic sound machines that have a loop and come with tons of options. I really wanted one that sounded like a real fan. This one is awesome. It has a lower sound, not a high pitch window fan sound, but more like a box fan without the annoying rattles. It's great. The nightlight is a nice feature. Its not too bright and has 2 settings. This one is also very affordable. Highly recommend.

Not a bad product for the price. I ordered two and one of the machines didn’t work and the company was very helpful in the refund/return process. It’s a cheaper alternative to the DOHM white noise machine. However the white noise sounds more like a computer running or machine than a fan like other more expensive machines.

Bought to cancel out noise in my home office. So far it works well. My wife can’t hear the phone calls as easily and I can’t hear the living room noises when it’s on. The white noise static takes getting use to, but well worth it.

The nightlight option was nice. The sound was also nice when it would work. After about 1 week the device would not turn on and make the soothing white noise sound. It would make a faint buzzing noise like it was trying to get started but then you would have to turn it on and off about 3 times before it would start. I returned it bc it was not consistent.

This white noise machine is perfect! It just does white noise, no other 'soothing sounds' or anything. I, personally, am annoyed by changing sounds, for example, the ocean sounds or rainforest sounds that other white noise machines give you the option of. This just does a constant white noise sound. It plugs in which is perfect because you don't have to worry about changing batteries or charging. It allows you to change the volume from soft to loud both by pressing the ON/OFF button and by opening and closing the vents. There's also a nightlight on the top that is touch-activated and has two degrees of brightness (touch once=low brightness, touch twice=high brightness, touch three times=off). It's very simple to use which I like about it, other machines I've found are too confusing and have too many choices. I work two jobs and have very strange hours, so I find it amazingly helpful to use when I'm trying to sleep and other people in the house are up doing things and making noise. It's also a great size to travel with (about the size of an ostrich egg), I took it with me on a trip last fall and plan on bringing it with me everywhere I go (it fit perfectly right inside my backpack). The only problem I have with it (which is just a small inconvience) is that when I'm tired and roll over it bed and try to turn it on it sometimes takes me several attempts before I can find the ON/OFF button, but other than that it's perfect. Soothes me right to sleep. 5 stars, 100% satisfied!

If there was an option to give zero Stars I would give this product 0. When the White noise machine worked properly it was fantastic, however after about 2 days it stopped functioning altogether. Amazon has fantastic customer service so I was able to return it and get another one as an exchange. Within a week the same exact thing happened where you try to power it on and hear nothing but a hum. I figured it couldn't hurt to try a third time so I had them send me another one as a replacement. Within 2 weeks... you guessed it ... the same thing happened. Don't waste your time on this, it's an amazing product when it functions but it won't function for long. And since it happened with three separate machines I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this is just not a quality product at all.

Only makes one sound. Apart from that if you like just white noise, then its perfect.

I love that it is “on until I turn it off.” I keep it in my twin 3-year old’s bedroom and it helps them sleep through the night. With the timed ones one would often wake up in the middle of the night and then wake their brother and it was a disaster. This is great for them! The nightlight option with two brightness levels is also great as it doesn’t flood the room with light when I turn it on.

Worked great for my daughters room to drown out the street noise however it stopped working after 3 weeks....light still works but sound part is intermittent and only works after being unplugged and plugged back in and lasts 5 minutes before it starts to over heat.

I loved this for my son. Unfortunately, after about two weeks it hardly makes a sound .

it would have gotten 5 stars because our son loved it and it helped him sleep great. But unfortunately it was bought as a christmas gift and he started using it the first week in January to have it stop working the last week of February. I Looked into returning but I missed the day I could send back by a week. The motor started started going and making weird noises.the seller is allowing me to return. Quick reply to my concern. Good customer service

Works but get hot fast. Not comfortable leaving it on for an extended period of time. Also the lowest volume is still loud. Not recommended.
