These diaper pins are nothing like the ones your mother used. Very flimsy and bends easily. I was very disappointed.

I needed a large safety pin for use on a blanket. So naturally I looked for a blanket pin. I found the most lethal looking pin one could possibly wish to avoid, because the sharp point was unshrouded when the pin was in the closed position. I am 84 years old and have not raised any babies lately, but I immediately looked for diaper pins as an alternative because their solid heads cover the sharp point when they are closed. I found these and could even get a color to match the blanket. They work great!

Pins bends easily with normal use. Very disappointed.

Just what I needed

It has been many years since we needed diaper pins, but I do like to pin my socks together through the wash and have never lost one yet. I was using brass dressmaker pins but they tended to open up during the wash cycle. My wife suggested diaper pins and we tried them. Thery're working perfectly and staying together through the washing. Matter of fact they can get a little tricky to open, but of course that was the idea. Recommended to keep your socks "friended up".
