I seriously can't believe I haven't written a review for this amazing product before now. I have been using Valerin since 1995 (!) and it is WONDERFUL. Prescription muscle relaxers don't tend to work on me (I've tried 4 so far and decided I didn't need to spend the $$ anymore), so having Valerin as a backup has been a godsend. The combination of valerian, passionflower and magnesium - seriously, that's all this is, in proportions that work - is excellent for what I need. It works for my neck cramps and keeps my TMJ pain in check. Two pills before bed keep me from grinding too much, and if I need extra due to neck issues, another single pill in the morning will soothe it.Caveat for other situations: I'm not a doctor, but I've recommended Valerin to enough people over the decades to see some patterns. If you're prone to sleepiness from relaxants, this will likely do the same thing! If you fall out from things like Robaxin or Soma, or if 25 mg of benadryl can make you sleep, my recommendation would be to only take Valerin at night . Also, it doesn't help enough on its own for prevention of muscle tension or leg cramps if I'm on a low-carb diet, but I've found that if I DON'T use Valerin while I'm low-carb, the cramps increase like whoa. Supplementing my Valerin with Natural Calm worked wonders for me last time around.

This stuff really works. I've always struggled with insomnia, but recently developed nerve and muscle pain that makes it practically impossible to fall asleep (or stay asleep). I toss and turn, get up in the middle of the night to stretch and do yoga, but nothing seemed to work. Apart from maybe a valium or vicodan, which -- let's face it -- is not a long-term solution. I decided to give this a try and much to my amazement it works.(1) About 20 minutes after taking two of these, my joint and muscle pain is almost entirely gone.(2) I find it easier to fall asleep.(3) I sleep longer and deeper. Seriously, I recently started wearing a fitness tracker that let's me know how many hours of sleep I get and how much of that sleep is deep versus light. And just taking two of these increased my sleep by nearly two hours and my deep sleep by almost 60%.Anyway, that's why I am currently purchasing my third bottle of this stuff.P.S. I'm pretty sure this product is identical to Formula 303. It has the same effect and the tablet looks and smells exactly the same.

Suffering from crazy leg, foot, and even hip area muscle cramps and spasms is a sure fire way to guarantee a really bad night's sleep. All the bananas, the stretching, the exercise movements, extra water didn't do anything to prevent these very painful nightly spasms. What did I have to lose? So I took three before bedtime. And...No cramps. No spasms. At all that night. The first night in years. Coincidence? No way. Ordered my first 340 pack of Valerin tablets that day and have never looked back. And on a night when I forget to take four of these, the spasms are back in full force. Yep, Valerin is a life changer.My mom who has RLS on a nightly basis tried these for a couple of nights to see if it made a difference... sadly to report, it didn't.If you're prone to muscle cramps and don't want to take prescribed muscle relaxants, give these a go instead. All natural, no nasty after taste, no side effects, amazing stuff.

The jury is still out. For years I’ve used Formula 303. These have same ingredients but only have used them a week or so. Theoretically they should work the same. They are cheaper however! That’s the plus!

PROS: I was kind of skeptical about this. I didn’t know if these pills would actually work. I want to preface this review by saying that I have also been taking Aleve Muscle and Back Pain. I started this medicine along with the Aleve last night and wow. When I woke up this morning, there was a HUGE difference. I sprained my back probably 4 to 5 weeks ago, and I was in a lot of pain. Nothing helped, not even Tylenol extra strength. It was painful to get up, it was painful to sit down, even if I just walked, I could still feel it. I am so glad I gave this a shot. It’s not going to get rid of your pain completely (at least it hasn’t yet) but the difference is just incredible to me. The pain I normally feel can only be described as a heaviness. I sprained my lower back, so it pretty much hurts to do anything. After taking this (every three hours and I took at least two doses last night) it was much easier to get out of bed. My back still hurts but I’m so glad I got this. Definitely worth it.CONS: pills smell like straight up vomit 🤢😂

I really had doubt but needed help with lower back muscle and nerve pain. I was shocked at how well it works. This product has been life changing for me! I take 2 at night, go to bed and relief! I highly recommend trying it. I researched and the ingredients seem to be very safe so I thought why not give it a try. There is a very strong stinky smell but I leave the 2 pills out for about 2 hours before taking and that seems to really lesson the smell and makes it tolerable to take. Do not let the smell turn you off, just let them air out some and then all is ok. I have also not had to take them on a regular basis. Just as needed. Fyi - they do make you sleepy, so something to keep in mind.
