SHOOT Skeleton Side Open Protective Housing Case Shell Cover for GoPro Hero 3+/4 Camera

Bought for a 3+ and seems to fit well with all buttons lining up and working. For the price a bargain but have knocked one star off as the latch came off whilst trying to open it the first time and then cracked whilst trying to close it. All within five minutes of unpacking!Fortunately(?) I've had this happen on a few different cases before (one of them being an original GoPro latch!) and have bought spare aluminium ones.So, five stars for the case (at this price) but zero stars for the latch.Update.A few days after posting my review, I was contacted by the seller (without any prior contact from myself) apologising about the latch and asking if I would like a replacement latch sent out. I can't imagine something like that happens too often so top marks for their after-sales support!

Taken airsofting, although I can't confirm any direct hits to the protective lens due to it being attached to my helmet. Hasn't been shot out and has survived 3 games so far.Easy enough to use and to mount.The lens will become slightly fogged up in rainy humid conditions so ideal for dry days.The clip that holds it shut has come off but simply reattachs and the wire just needs bending back slightly

Okay what can I say about this product. Firstly it seems well built but it as one annoying flaw which makes this a 1 star review.Every single time you open the back door the clip falls off. It doesn’t matter how careful you are the result is the same. If you are at the side of the road changing a battery the last thing you want is a fight with a recalcitrant clip that really does not want to be pushed back into position.I am keeping it as a spare if I ever get desperate enough to need one.

The case seems ok for the money, it doesn't feel quite GoPro quality but it is a fraction of the price. The camera looks good in the black case however I have had to swap the back door for a clear GoPro one so I can see the light that indicates when the camera is recording. Overall not a bad product and will serve the purpose of enabling me to plug my external microphone into the side.

Work perfect. More discreet that the silver version.only inconvenience is that you the fact of the colour you can't see the red or blue light flashing so in dark situations it's hard to see if camera on recording. at least for me that I have attach and the helmet and use my mirrow to checkAs always Amazon fast a good service.

It's sturdy and it protects the lens unlike some skeleton cases. The side hole is big enough to charge the camera but not designed to let you get the sd card in or out.

Tengo la carcasa desde hace ya medio año y la empleo a diario.Es muy robusta, bonita y cumple con todas sus funciones.OJO!! No es apta para ser sumergida ya que dispone de una apertura en el lateral.Para quienes hacen Motovloging u otras cosas que requiere tener la cámara protegida y a la vez poder enchufar un cable es idónea.Ojo con los palitos de metal que ejercen a los botones de la cámara. Disponen de cantos y pueden dañar la estética de los botones de la cámara (como en todas las carcasas de segundas marcas) simplemente hay que pasar con una lija de agua 2000 por encima unos segundos y ya esta.

Nettes Gehäuse für meine Gopro hero 4 silver für Moto-vlog und für langzeit Zeitraffer aufnahmen damit die Anschlüsse frei bleiben für externes Mikrofon oder exterme Stromversorgung. (Logisch) Das Gehäuse ist nicht wasserdicht und dafür ist es auch nicht gemacht. Die einzigen Mängel die ich bis jetzt feststellen konnte sind Nr.1 der obere (Aufnahme start) Knopf federt nicht so wie die anderen, somit ist man sich z.b. auf dem Motorrad nicht 100% sicher ob die Kamera aktiviert ist aber der Knopf funktioniert trotzdem problemlos. Nr.2 Das Gehäuse ist seh sehr passgenau und somit fällt die Kamera nicht wie beim Originalgehäuse von selbst raus wenn man den Deckel öffnet, sondern man hilf etwas nach. Aber wie gesagt, für den Preis sind das echt keine tragischen Fehler.

Super Robustes Gehäuse, habe mir dieses gekauft um daran ein Micro anzuschließen.Alles läuft super gut, sieht gut aus und hält sehr gut.Würde es immer wieder kaufen und kann es nur jedem Empfehlen, der ein geschlossenes Gehäuse sucht wo jedoch an der wichtigen Seite offen ist.An der Micro SD Card ist das Plastik so, das man nicht hin kommt, somit kann man nicht so einfach die SD Card raus machen, finde ich auch sehr gut gelöst.

Ich habe bereits ein ähnliches Gehäuse (voll geschlossen) im Einsatz und bin damit auch sehr zufrieden, jedoch hat mich immer gestört, dass ich nur einen bedingten Ton auf meinen Videos habe. Aber das ist ja auch normal, denn entweder ist es wasserdicht und dann habe ich eben nur einen sehr leisen, bis gar keinen Ton, oder es ist eben nicht wasserdicht und dafür kann ich die Anschlüsse der Kamera benutzen.Genau aus diesem Grund habe ich mir das Gehäuse bestellt, denn ich möchte gerne ein externes Mikrophon anschließen.Das „geöffnete“ Gehäuse ist sehr passgenau, die Kamera sitzt perfekt im Gehäuse und die Anschlüsse, für Mikrophon etc. sind gut zugänglich. Die Verarbeitung macht einen guten Eindruck, daher kann ich das Gehäuse nur empfehlen.

Die GoPro 3+ passt perfekt in das Gehäuse und die Bedientasten am Gehäuse funktionieren einwandfrei.Beim ersten Öffnen des Gehäuses hat sich der Spannverschluss vom Gehäuse gelöst. Der Spannverschluss ist qualitativ nicht einwandfrei (durch einen Spritzgussfehler) wodurch der Metallbügel sich sehr leicht vom Spannverschluss lösen kann. Habe daher den Spannverschluss des originalen Gehäuses auf dieses Gehäuse gebaut. Das sollte eigentlich für alle ab dem Kindergartenalter möglich sein. Damit war das Gehäuse schon recht gut.Da ich noch einen transparenten Original-Verschlussdeckel übrig hatte, der nochdazu nicht vollflächig verschlossen ist, habe ich diesen auch noch auf dieses Gehäuse gebaut damit sich die Hitze im Gehäuse nicht so aufstaut.Damit ist dieses Gehäuse für mich absolut perfekt bei der Verwendung am Motorrad:1) Das Gehäuse ist von vorne durch die schwarz-matte Farbe ein wenig unauffälliger2) Die LEDs sind von vorne nicht mehr sichtbar (damit ist nicht gleich jeder angepisst weil unerlaubt gefilmt wird...)3) Durch den transparenten Original-Verschlussdeckel sehe nur ich die LED bei aktivierter Aufnahme4) Durch die 2 großen Schlitze im Original-Verschlussdeckel biltet sich kein so großer Hitzestau mehr wie im vollverschlossenen Original-Gehäuseund natürlich der große ursprüngliche Sinn von diesem Gehäuse...5) durch die Öffnung in der Seite kann die GoPro ständig geladen werden und ich kann endlich auch noch am Nachmittag meine Aufnahmen von der Motorradtour machen.Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit und habe im vergleich zum Original-Skelett-Gehäuse eine Menge Geld gespart.

Fa quello che promette, peccato che al primo utilizzo, nel cercare di estrarre la GoPro per scaricare il video si è rotto il meccanismo di chiusura.AGGIORNAMENTO DEL 01.062017 Contattato dal venditore che mi ha proposto di sostituire il prodotto, arrivato dopo una settimana, adesso sto un po' attento nel utilizzo. Fa il suo dovere, con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Bello a vedersi, ma è delicatissimo, il vetro è quasi impossibile da pulire, come se fosse ricoperto da una patina di unto impossibile da mandar via, aperto e chiuso 10 volte si è irrimediabilmente rotto, do 2 stelle e non 1 solo per il costo irrisorio.

Passt und funktioniert. Kleines Manko, zum Aufladen muss die Kamera aus dem Gehäuse genommen werden, da die Aussparung am Gehäuse nicht passgenau zur Abdeckung der Ladebuchse ist.

Leider passt das Gehäuse nicht so 100% zu meiner GoPro Hero 4. Ich bekomme diese nach dem Einsetzen so gut wie gar nicht mehr aus dem Gehäuse raus. Habe es zwei mal versucht, beim zweiten mal war ich kurz davor, das Gehäuse brechen zu müssen um die Kamera wieder herauszubekommen. Die Verarbeitung und die Optik ist sehr gut, qualitativ würde ich das Gehäuse behalten. Aber durch die bei mir schlechte Passform schicke ich es leider wieder zurück. Schade.

Plastica pessima e leggera, la HERO 4 ci sta dentro malissimo e lo schermetto frontale è tagliato fuori, se avete la silver, non si puo vedere l'LCD posteriore perchè il case è di plastica nera. Chiusura e giunture sembrano leggerissime e i tasti sono anchessi di plastica nera e cliccano male. infine il vetro non ha il trattamento anti alone (tipo osmotico) e si striscia veramente con poco. L'ho subito resa.

Das Gehäuse an sich wirkt robust, jedoch würde ich es nicht z.B. beim Downhill fahren empfehlen, denn es schützt sicher nicht so wie das originale. Leider entfernt sich die schwarze Lackierung bereits, obwohl ich es noch nicht benutzt habe.Aber sonst ein praktisches Gehäuse.

La calidad es en función del precio. El plástico no es de calidad. Si quieres algo económica esta es la opción. Al ser negro la camara se calienta demasiado hasta el punto de apagarse por sobre-temperatura. El conector mini-usb entra perfecto.

Gut verarbeitet- Kaufempfehlung....sofern man eine Fernbedienung für die Go Pro hat ist es ok ,denn sämtliche leuchten die während der Aufnahme leuchten sind im Gehäuse verdeckt ,somit nicht mehr erkennbar .Für mich aber weniger störend

L'oggetto è di buonanprogettazione ma realizzato con materiali abbastanza scadenti. Purtroppo la custodia non ha superato la prima uscita rompendosi in più punti dopo un'urto nemmeno esagerato.La cosa peggiore è che non sono presenti grandi alternative a questa..

Desafortunadamente tuve que cortar con un archivo los metales que accionan los botones para que funcionara correctamente con mi cámara.
