This aerial is perfect!
Not only is this aerial so unbelievably cheap, small and portable but it also works PERFECTLY. I have bought countless times bulkier indoor aerials from Argos and big retailers from many well known brands which have barely picked up any Freeview stations, often freeze never work and need adjusting. This is so much cheaper than all of them, so much smaller, so much nicer looking due to it's discreteness and picks up every station including the HD stations. Never freezes and never needs adjusting. Perfect, I recommend this, you'll never need to replace your aerial ever again. Please note, I stuck this aerial to my window where it can't be seen and also so it is able to have a more 'direct' way to get a signal, because as with any other indoor aerial if it's not close enough to the window it usually doesn't work/doesn't work that well. In this case since the aerial is good you'll get some channels but it still won't work that well.

Helpful tips
Some advice for indoor aerials. Go to Freeview.co.uk Find your nearest transmitter. Mine is Ridge Hill which is 26miles away. I am on the ground floor in a built-up area Receiving strength is 43% There are 2 trees that are a problem when it's windy. I have a double glazed window facing the transmitter. I have tried an amplified stalk aerial. Reception was very poor. Very few channels. I have tried a one- for- all amplified loop aerial rated as suitable for 15miles. Had to keep moving the aerial for different channels. Quality was 20-60% with signal drop outs.AKORD arrived on time in a Jiffy bag. Didn't look very impressive. An 8"x2" plastic strip. No amplifier. There is no difference with/without the 3M plastic backing. I stuck it directly onto the window but I lost channels. I put the 3M back on and used the rubber sticker. Good results but you lose channels if the wings touch the glass. I got all Freeview channels. 33 of these were at 100% quality. All radio channels were at 100% quality. There were no signal drop outs. I got an extra ITV channel on channel 8. The E.P.G. was different to channel 3. I am using this aerial with my DVB-T digital tuner. Brilliant Buy. Recommended.

Absolute Rubbish
Let me say from the outset that I have no issues with the vendor of this product, it arrived promptly and well packaged.I suppose the low price should have allerted me to the quality of this product but I hadn't expected it to be totally useless.I have moved into my top floor spare bedroom as I do during the winter, it's self contained and is warmer. I decided to press my portable TV into use so bought a freeview box to recieve digital signals but needed a digital antenna to get it up and running and as I don't have an aerial into that room I decided to buy an indoor digital aerial. When it arrived I was surprised how small and flimsy it was, you can either use the suction cup or peel of the self adhesive backing paper to stick it to a window which I duly did.I quickly realised that I wasn't getting any signal at all, in fact the signal strength meter on my digibox software indicates a signal strength of 16%, even with it unplugged I am still getting 16% so the aerial is not helping one bit.I've since found out that digital signals need to be good to be recieved and if not are rejected by the digibox so this product needs to be in a STRONG signal area, something not really emphasised but I thought I would get some signal allbeit a weak one but nothing at all was all I could manage. My advice would be not to bother with this product unless you have line of sight with the transmitter mast or live very close to it.

Great low-cost inobtrusive aerial
Item arrived promptly in a plain grey mailbag. The aerial is really small and I was dubious it would receive a decent signal; however, I plugged it into the back of the TV and immediately got a clear uninterrupted signal. The TV in question is in a bedroom next to a window but I thought I'd try fixing the aerial to the back of the TV using the sucker provided. I made sure it had a good signal but despite several attempts (and making sure the surface was dust-free) the sucker fell off after a few seconds each time, so - as mentioned in other reviews - the sucker is pretty useless. Still, my original plan was to place the aerial on the window so that's what I did. The aerial comes with a pre-fixed adhesive and you just peel off the backing. This makes the aerial transparent and with its small size and thin cable (albeit black in colour) the aerial is barely noticeable from the outside. One issue is, after ensuring there was a good signal before attaching the aerial, once affixed, the signal began to cut out intermittently. This seemed to cure itself after 5 minutes so I'll see how it goes - though I'm not sure how the aerial would fair if I tried to remove it anyway. Another disappointment is that, even after rescanning, the aerial did not get as many channels as the larger indoor aerial attached to the TV in the downstairs living room and that is located further back in the room. Still, the little aerial did locate 121 channels (including a lot of radio channels) and gave a clear picture for the 'popular' channels I watch so it's not a major issue. In summary, a great little aerial for such a diminutive size and costing under a fiver! One star deducted for the sucker that won't stick and for finding fewer channels than my other indoor aerial (an old fashioned antenna-style aerial). In fairness, I would have given the aerial 4 and a half stars if I could. All-in-all I'm happy with my purchase and would highly recommend.
