Women's 583 Slingback Sandal

First saw different styles at Madewell and thought they looked cute and comfortable, so I went online to look for more styles. I bought this style in black, and this beige Rheseda color in 36 and 37. This color is this best for this style in my opinion.These were my favorite shoes of 2013. Travelled to 3 countries and wore these almost exclusively. They are so light. The shape of the sole is great, perhaps a little on the hard side, not cushiony. I became accustomed to them quickly.I usually wear a 6.5, and my feet are wide. 37's are usually perfect, but this was a little on the long side. The 36's are a little short. But both are fine. I'm always really happy when I don't have to deal with width issues. The laces here make them fairly adjustable, although I didn't really have to widen mine.Its been many miles and 7 months and I still wear them and love them.

I've purchased Worishofer shoes before and they are still as well made as they were years ago. This style is very comfortable and supports my feet very well. Very stylish and a perfect height for jeans and dresses

All my other Worishofer shoes are made in Germany and these said Portugal. I found that the leather didn’t seem as soft.

Do not buy. I'm not sure what happened but this is my 4th pair of Worishofers and these are not like the pairs I've gotten in the past. This pair isn't made in Germany, the inner sole says made in Portugal. It's obvious they are lower quality but worse than that the leather is so so hard it's like cardboard and it cut up the tops of my big toe. Painful. I'm extremely disappointed because these used to be my favorite summer shoe.Almost a year later I'm editing to add that these are the absolute worst. I've tried everything from moisturizing the leather to wearing the shoes around my house with socks. The leather is SO HARD and cuts up and makes my big toes bleed terribly. DO NOT BUY THESE. I'd also like to note that I bought a 1/2 size up and adjusted the shoelaces. I would give them zero stars but Amazon doesn't let me. You've been warned.

I have 3 pairs of the 583 style Sandals. They are really comfortable, look good with shorts and crops and also give you the extra height to look really great with skirts and jeans. I wear a size US 7 and the 37EU/7B US size fits me perfectly. I think the Rheseda color is my favorite. I love the fact that they look like a sandal, but still cover your feet completely!

I love this brand. As a mother of young kids and a teacher, I am always on my feet. These are so comfy and look really cute! I usually wear a 7/7.5 in shoes but the 8 seem to always fit with this brand.

This is the perfect city sandal. It looks smart, fits well and you can walk for miles on concrete sidewalks. I order a new pair every year. As soon as mine arrive, I bring them to the shoemaker to have small cleats added at toes and heels. That seems to make them last much longer.

I bought the same sandals the previous summer and loved them as well. They are extremely comfortable and look cute with almost every summer dress. The only downside was that the bottom of the shoes wore out significantly over the summer. Try not to get them wet, I'm hoping that this will give them a longer life.I bought them in a 39 last year and they were slightly too big and a 38 this year and they were slightly to small when I got them, but I'm hoping that they stretch slightly.
