I have a few different types of snap lid containers and generally love them which led me to this purchase. This design however is substandard to the others I have. The living hinge snap feature isn't sized right and is pretty loose. i have only used one container a handful of times and it already doesn't stay snapped and pops open (the lid is too big). It does seem to vary by lid though. Some of the lids fit better than the others, so maybe it is just a quality control problem. I regret buying 6 of these as they definitely are not airtight.These containers also take up a TON of shelf space relative to a cereal box. I can only fit 3 of these containers where I stored 6 cereal boxes in the past. This design is not practical for someone with limited storage. Like another reviewer said, the container necks down from the lid, so its not that you just have a bigger container and can store more product, there is a lot of dead space between the containers that you can't use. I work with product designers for a living and I can't believe lid fit and space utilization was so blatantly overlooked with this product.

This item is fine for what it was designed for but not large enough for what I wanted it for and that was to hold more than ten pounds of sugar at a time. Other than that I find the product a most excellent one to use and works just fine holding things like dried beans, pasta, and many other items that you may have in your cupboard that could use putting in a different container in order to conserve on shelf space.I'd recommend this item very highly for those uses as well as the one it is actually designed for to begin with.

Great containers...Especially during a hurricane. No water was available on the store shelves and prices were going up so we ordered these filled them with tap and stored them in the fridge. They are not water tight but enough so they worked in a pinch. Didn't need the stored water but we had it. Now we will use them for dry goods and wait for another storm.

Really a great way to organize the pantry. Looks amazing. These are just like the ones I bought 10 years ago only some of the lids don't stay on. Could be due to the way they are shipped stacked inside each other. I leave those one's lid-less with snacks in them for little kids to grab after school.

I have about a dozen or so of these, so I like them. They're great for organizing my kitchen. But the only thing I wish was better was the lids. They don't stay on very easily, which makes pouring things from the top while the container is closed impossible. I use scoops anyway, so this isn't a big deal. But people should be aware of that. Also, because the lid is not tight, I don't think I would recommend it for someone who is buying them to keep out ants or air. Otherwise, they're great. I use them for pasta, cereal, pancake mix. They're clear which is great, and I also made labels so I can tell the difference between pancake mix and flour. haha.

Since I didn't see any posts that really stated just how much these held, here is what I currently am keeping in my six. 3 of these containers will hold one 25lbs bag of brown rice. One container held 10-12 lbs of spaghetti, another held one 10 lb bag of granulated sugar, and another held 6 1/2 lbs of powdered sugar.I bought the 24 cup container 6pk. These are sturdy and the lids have a good seal. I don't see any problems with the lids like other reviewers have stated. They work well. These are the largest containers I've been able to find and fit my needs decently. I do hope one day however, to find a container that will hold an entire 25lbs bag of rice, beans, or flour.

Some of the snaps don't really lock all of the way into place. I had to remove the lid and work with the snap to "loosen it up" so it would lock the whole way down. But I planned on keeping items in their original packaging anyway. The purpose, for me, was to organize my pantry, group things together, and keep out mice (occasionally happens when you live in the country). So, they meet my needs perfectly.

These are just okay, but probably good for the price. One top was warped, and wouldn’t make a good seal. The others were fine, so it wasn’t worth returning. Overall, just okay, but would not buy again.

1 storage container came dented and lid was cracked and broken

Bought these according to the overall dimensions, they should have been big enough to fit most 3D printing filament spools (750/1000g) but the design where the grip is decreases the internal dimensions and is too narrow for spools to spin freely. These aren't the containers your looking for.
