Not the best quality. This is something you should buy in person... not from Amazon
It's super important for the wire mesh to be perfectly flat, but this one didn't really ship that way. The portion of the mesh with the adhesive backing was slightly protruding compared to the center of the mesh. I tried to flatten it a bit with heavy books, but ultimately it just didn't really get flat enough.I bought two of these, one went on perfectly... the other has a noticeable bump along the edge after I spackled, sanded, and painted. As other reviewers pointed out... make sure you're ready to spackle the moment you stick this on the wall. Even if you prep the pre-repair surface with some isopropyl to clean the paint, the adhesive barely sticks.

Good patch
These have been lifesavers. Electrician made a bunch of holes in order to run wire horizontally on drywall. I just use a DRY cloth to wipe the area around the hole (do not use a damp cloth, I tried it and they will not stick), peel stick and coat with a thin layer of putty. They are just stiff enough

SO EASY TO USE!
I had a small hole in my bathroom wall that was left by a plumber. I tried to fix it with another product that is only a mesh thread but that didn't work out as well as this patch. The metal in this brand seems to grab the wallboard compound and it really is easier to spread out and get a great looking result. The mesh type bunched up in places and the compound didn't spread as easily over it. But when I used this brand I didn't have any trouble getting a more even result. I also used it to patch my ceiling when I took a cabinet down. It stayed put while was applying the compound. This is a wonderful tool for any DIYer.

Every Homeowner Needs This!
Every homeowner should have this wallboard patch kit. For years I struggled to fill various holes in walls in numerous homes with mixed success. After a recent move I found myself needing more than sparkling paste and joint tape. This product is an aluminum mesh with a self-sticking adhesive backer that you simply apply over the hole. You'll need some joint compound, a nice wide putty knife and a sanding block to finish the job. The results are impressive. I found that you can make smaller patches from this kit by cutting the aluminum with tin snips. You can cover the edges with some self-sticking joint tape. Great stuff.

Cover those holes!
This patch kit is awesome, I had a fairly large hole opened in the wall to identify where a leak was, and was worried about what the wall would look like patched. This went on easy, with the adhesive back, and stuck to where I placed it. It took the compound well, with no holes the first time, and looked smooth and no bulges. Sanded it and then did another coat, and once it was painted you can't tell where the patch is, and it even pressing against that part of the wall doesn't feel any different than the rest of the wall. This is a great product, and is holding up well.

Easy route to a quality patch
It works! I removed a wall phone and used this to patch the whole that was left. The patch adhered well when I put it on. I then give it a very thin coat of drywall compound, sanded a tad, then another very thin coat, followed by another light sand. When it was painted, the whole was gone!Much easier to complete than convention drywall patching techniques.

WONDERFUL
I had these unsightly holes in my kid's playroom. I was worried I'd have to hire someone to fix them and didn't have the money for it. I held out for about 2 years before I finally got the guts to look into doing it myself. Why didn't I do it sooner!? I got the stuff I needed for cheap, got it done myself perfectly, and I couldn't be happier! Couldn't even tell a repair was done. This makes it SO EASY.

Hardly Adhesive
The Walboard Tool is well constructed but it is hardly adhesive. Has to be held in place with one hand when applying spackling to the mesh with the other hand. Not as adhesive as those I have used from Home Depot.
