Good instant light roast coffee
I often travel to a resort with no in-room coffee makers. I bought a portable electric kettle and tested a few instant coffees. This was my favorite light roast.Nice flavor, easy to use, no coffee specks left behind. Adjust the flavor with more or less water to your own preference. So much better than having to get dressed, take an elevator to the lobby, stand in line with other weary vacationers or conference attendees, over-pay for coffee that might not even be that fresh, and then carry that hot cup back up to your room.

Tasty, but expensive
I love Columbian coffee. Got this to try out while camping. Tastes great, but at $10/8 packets, it's a bit expensive. I think I'll stick with the Mount Hagen single serve packets, $10/25 which, if I'm being honest, tastes a bit better IMO.

Great taste. Beautiful aroma
The look, feel, and taste are very good and unlike any instant I have ever tried. I only rated 4 out of 5 stars for a single reason. As someone deeply concerned about what I put in my body, I was not comfortable with the ingredients list. Yes, it states 100% pure Arabica beans, but it follows with the statement, "natural flavors" That is too general a statement and I'd prefer to know what "exactly" those purported natural flavors consist of ingredients wise.

Great instant iced coffee!
I usually mix regular dried coffee into my cold water because I prefer iced coffee and it never tastes good. But man this is the one if you like cold iced coffee drinks!

Taste
I really hate leaving any kind of a review, but I appreciate honest reviews when I’m looking at a product. I drink a latte every morning and recently my Dr told me to cut out caffeine….broken heart! So I needed to find a good decaf replacement. I purchased multiple brands off from Amazon and sadly I threw this one away (I won’t return something I’ve tasted/tried). This claims to have a vanilla taste but I didn’t taste any vanilla. I drink cold lattes so maybe that’s the problem, it can only be made into a hot beverage, but this left an odd taste in my mouth. I tried 3 different times and just couldn’t finish even half a glass of coffee/latte. Not even with extra sugar.

Nauseating strong smell
I don’t know why I thought buying this sounded good or was a good idea. The package was so fragrant not even opening it yet. It was so strong and artificial smelling. It made me feel sick. Not good. Buy literally anything else. I had to wrap it in many plastic bags to keep the smell from lingering in the office and it’s a small bag. Yuck 🤢

Good Flavor
This is a good product for Freeze Dried Coffee. It is quick and easy to make a cup of strong body, rich smooth flavor as if brewing a cup. A little goes a long way, can add a bit more if needing more richness/flavor. It is good for those with a sensitive stomachs, less acidity and keeps your stomach from being upset and gassy.

Waka the heck are people raving about?
I bought this coffee because of all the rave reviews I read online, but unfortunately I simply did not have the same experience as those reviewers...Full disclosure, I ordered this coffee during the middle of the COVID outbreak here in Canada, and waited about 8 weeks for the item to arrive. I also drink Kicking Horse coffee almost everyday (Three Sisters, Grizzly Claw, and the Donkey one - the exact name escapes me) to give you an idea of the type of coffee I like. Kicking horse is a strong coffee when brewed regularly, but can get downright potent when the amount of coffee and water is customized to taste - and I love that about it, so that was the bar I set for this experience with Waka coffee.Bear in mind that I have extensive experience drinking instant coffee since I too have been a desperate college kid, so please don't consider me a coffee snob of any kind.Following the instructions of 1-2 teaspoons per cup, I start with one tsp. for my first cup of coffee...blech. Flavour profile is next to invisible save for a mild dirt flavour in this steaming cup of hot water. No worries, not shaken / dismayed yet. I like strong coffee, so maybe I just didn't make it strong enough.Second cup, I try 2 tsp. when brewing my coffee, and OH BOY - the flavour was there, but my GOD was it...meh...borderline gross, and this coming from someone who routinely drank Nescafe, Maxwell House, and even No Name instant coffee in the past.I'm not even upset with Waka about the coffee...disappointed - yes, but not upset. I'm upset with myself for having such high hopes for it. I'm going to struggle to finish this massive bag of coffee seeing as how I've only had the two cups to date, but maybe I'll find a use for it that doesn't see me forcing myself to drink it.Pray for me.

Buy some other instant coffee.
35 servings, $1 a cup. Tastes like $12 instant coffee. May as well just buy grocery store coffee. As usual, the "charity" is questionable and likely a hefty percentage doesn't make it to the people that supposedly need it. Not to mention, helping them in the first place raises a lot of questions like... where does the money actually end up. Often it just enhances the dictatorship going on in those poverty countries.
