Q: How do you set-up the padlock that came with the bag?

Simple. At first the combination should be all zero. Check to see that when you press the button it unlocks. Set the lock back in place. To make your own combination use a pen tip to push the reset button underneath. Keep the button pressed down and set your own combination. Let go of the button and that is your combination. It comes with instructions as well. Those are probably easier to understand than mine.

Q: Where is the other clip for the strap

The loop to clip the over the shoulder strap is on the other side of the bag. Is it not shown in the photo.
