Forever After All

Catharina Maura just knows how to write man, I’ve read so many of her books bc she just makes the characters so deeply in love with one another, it makes me hope to have that love one day! This book was steamy and so tear jerking for good reasons. The main female character is so strong and so loving, such a great role model, and she fights for what she wants and is very humble. She never gave up on the thing she loved most. The main male character is also a very loving person. He’s so obsessed and territorial over his woman, I love itttt. He also fights for his family and I just highlighted so much stuff in this book bc it blew me away. I really hope you give this book a chance, I don’t think you will regret it! Thank you for writing an amazing story Catharina Maura!

If this is your first Cat Maura book, just know they all have a good amount of spice!! 🌶️🌶️🌶️On to the review, well I loved the plot, if there is one thing about her books she never misses with the plots or plot twists here & there.Elena & Alec are childhood friends turned lovers but not without their struggles. Alec is determined to never fall in love again after his ex-fiancée cheated on him & left him for Elena’s horrible brother.Elena marries Alec in order to save her mother’s life & provide her with the care she needs to wake up from her coma. As her own family pushed her away & banished her from their “family”.I loved how loving Alec was without him ever realizing it, how he looked after her, took care of her problems, & ensured he could do everything in his power to keep her happy (even without loving her) according to him anyway lol. BUT I also disliked how he treated her like a mere object sometimes & he brushed off her concerns when he was upset, it made me upset too but he was sweet overall so I won’t complain too much.Elena on the other hand I loved how kind and lovable she was. She was always their to help her friends and family. She always gave Alec the benefit of doubt until she no longer could which was cute but annoying at the same time like girl get uppp! But i get it, it would seem a little out of character for her since she was a sweetheart.Anyway 4 stars because it was good overall, plot, spice, HEA. But -1 because Elena was kind of a pushover, Alec was mean af at times (& gave me the ickk sometimes) & some OWD w the ex-fiancée (no cheating tho)

Ahhhhh!!! This book was so good!!A marriage of convenience, billionaire alpha male, best friend from childhood’s older brother, with an almost Cinderella feel!Elena is desperate to care for her mother and make money after spending all of her trust fund caring for her mother, who is in a hospitalized and in a coma. After her father and stepmother, brother and half sister turn her away, she has no where to go, no one to turn to.After being turned away, someone suggests a gentleman’s club where she can potentially make extra money on the side. There she runs into Alexander, her childhood best friend’s broody older brother. Alexander needs a wife, and Elena needs money for her mom, so Alexander proposes a marriage of convenience.I loved, loved loved this story!! Ahhh, Alexander was sooo HOT! I love an alpha boss that takes control.Elena is so sweet, I feel so bad for what her family does to her, but she stays strong and stands up for herself and her mom!Elena and Alexander are so cute together, I just love them. Their relationship was so cute to watch (read) as it grew and developed. Alexander softening towards her was so adorable!Highly recommend this story, all the stars for Forever After All!!

I liked the progression of Alec and Elena's story. Their characters are both likable and the plot was more in-depth then other books in this genre. I definitely would recommend this one!

This was a 1st for me by Catharina Maura and pretty darned good. A bit reminiscent of “my mother’s” romance but that is actually what made it great. I haven’t read a book in a LONG time where the characters are ultra conservative and she is “desperate” for him and he could almost careless, taunting her with her desire for him (never his with hers, oh no, that would be too forward!!!) but always made it known how badly she wanted him. This had a harlequin romance feel from the 80’s to put it in a nutshell. Again, not wrong or bad, just old school. Our h was ready to sell herself to save her mom when she ran into the H, her childhood billionaire crush. They struck a mutually beneficial agreement that was supposed to last forever… I read and listened to this book and loved the added emotion and realism Sebastian York and CJ Bloom ALWAYS bring to a story. They made it that much more poignant. All in all, a good read that made me smile. I may read this author again.

I couldn’t put down this book and finished it in a day. Now I want more! Great writing and emotional

This book is like watching a soap opera. So much family drama and very interesting to read.I really admire Elena for not giving up on the people that she loves. She’s very headstrong despite the odds thrown at her.Alex on the other hand I feel like whacking his head with a bottle of Perrier. Thank god he finally realized what he really wanted before it was gone.This is my first read and definitely not the last from this author and I really liked how each character was represented.I highly recommend this book.

I love this book!It was really heartbreaking and with so much love!Elena and her fight to keep her mother alive was difficult, you could see she was going to do everything in her power to make it happen. I loved this story so much!I understood Alec most of the times and could see him falling in love with her in every page! Beautiful!

I really liked the story. There are lots of twists and turns in this book and it really captured by attention well. This book is wholesome and it kept me hooked till the very last page. The chemistry between Alexander and Elena is something else and I loved both of them equally..Overall the beautiful marriage of convenience till now I've ever read. 📚 🥹✨️

Well worth a read. It wasn't over the top like some billionaire romance novels. An what these ppl went through is awful. I'm glad they got their happily ever after. And their revenge.

Catharina Maura is an amazing writer. Each book she writes is masterpiece and this one is no exception. Sometimes Alec said and did things that made me soo angry. Elena has a golden heart and angel patience. He is lucky to have her. The book is definitely worth reading.
