Good solid Battery Holders for hobby projects
Thes battery holder do the job. They hold the AA batteries well, no tendency for the battery to slip out by itself (I have had problems with the AA cell partially popping out of the holder and losing power with other models of battery holder). The plastic is sturdy and grips the batteries well. The springs are good - but, every once in a great while, with a new holder, you have to make sure that the AA battery slides forward all the way and makes contact with the positive side terminal (This is a side effect of how well the sides of the holder grip the AA cells). After some use they holder loosens up and this is not a problem. They have convenient screw holes if you need to screw or bolt the battery holder down. The ends of the wires come pre-tinned for easy soldering.

Better quality holders than the last batch I purchased.
Originally purchased a two-pack of aa holders from a different seller. They didn't last very long https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S4Z4H9I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The WALLYSHINNE cases are of noticeably better quality. The contact springs are heavy duty, the case is better built, the wires may be a bit thicker and the case has plastic retaining clips so the outside two batteries can't slip out. With these cases IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO tape the power wires to the battery case to prevent them from moving. The connections are cheap, and if the wires move enough they will fail.

Works fine. Holds onto the battery a bit too well, have to pry it out with a screwdriver.
They work OK.Complaint: The plastic comes so far up the sides of the battery, it requires a screwdriver to pry the battery out, and I'm worried I'll break the holder. So I've had to trim the plastic down a bit.

Dangerous for classroom use
These battery holders we used for our class were not safe. We would not recommend this product because they had poorly insulated wires. When we attempted to use them they began smoking and creating sparks. The cases became so hot that they melted. This created a fire hazard in our school. Also, if we touched the battery pack we could be burned. Our teacher had to check every pack to make sure they were not dangerous. Our teacher was burned when handling the battery packs. This was not a good use of this technology. If it can’t be safe it shouldn’t be advertised for classroom use. Luckily, no one was severely harmed by these battery packs but we want others to know about the dangers.Sincerely,The Circuit Conductors of 4th and 5th grade of Kensington Elementary School

Entirely suitable
When buying a AAA battery holder, you have one thing in mind...durability. You dont want the case to crack, the springs to pop out or the leads to be insufficiently connected. The WAYLLSHINE 6PCS 2 x 1.5V AAA Battery Spring Clip Black Plastic 2 x 1.5V AAA Battery Case Holder Box Black passed on all criteria. You could probably find them elsewhere for a buck or two less, but you probably couldn't receive them any faster. Maybe that's two criteria then - durability and delivery time. Oh, and price, too. I guess there is really three things you probably have in mind if you are considering ordering these. Maybe there's more, but I can't think of any. I recommend buying these, but only if you need a set of of AAA battery holders. Otherwise, you're just being foolish with your money.

Exact fit for my kid's RC car modification project!
The toy RC car came with a 700mAh 9.6V (1.2V x 8) Ni-Cd battery pack, it doesn't last very long before recharge is needed. So I decided to replace the original battery pack with my own solution - 2 parallel groups of 600mAh 9.6V (3.2V x 3) LiFePO4 batteries. This product houses the 14500 LiFePO4 batteries just fine and two of these boxes fit amazingly well into the RC car's battery compartment! Very satisfied!

Perfect for my project
I have a battery operated wall clock that eats batteries. I use the highest capacity rechargeables I can find, but I'm still replacing it every month. SO..... I bought these puppies; hot-glued them to the back of the clock, wired them in parallel, and now I have (4) rechargeable AA batteries. It worked so good, I also did the clock in my shop. I shouldn't have to touch that one for a year!! lol

Bought these to make my own replacement battery pack for a server RAID cache card.
One of my servers RAID cards battery backup had bit the dust and instead of spending a fortune on a used battery pack of questionable origin, I purchased this to wire up my own replacement with some rechargeable batteries. I did not end up using it as I bought a used card off of ebay that had more RAM on it then my current one did and it had a new battery pack. If I do need these for any projects in a pinch, I have stock on hand and am ready to go!

Good quality, just a touch larger than original holder it was designed to replace ...
These AA battery holders are of good quality and offer good battery retention. The wiring is long enough to allow tailoring leads to fit a particular installation. These were purchased to replace battery holders in an Elecraft KX1 CW QRP transceiver. I eventually managed to complete the installation BUT these new holders are a touch wider than the original ones -- about 2 to 3 mm or so .... This required some creativity to fit in an extremely tight environment. Something to keep in mind if you replace or retrofit anything.

Good product
The battery holders were delivered in a timely manner and were as advertised. They work well for the applications I use them for. I would recommend this product.

It works.
Did what its suppose to, hold a AA battery supply voltage to the wires.

Good
Good, cheap. Wish they had an on off switch so I wouldn't have to take the battery out every time...
