These handles are amazing!I shopped every satin nickel contemporary handle available, but I was on a budget, and the ones I could afford felt cheap and light; they didn't even feel like metal.These are heavy, they look and feel expensive and similar to a commercial grade. I love the modern, minimal design.The only hitch I have with them, is that I have "european' handles on my doors, that I bought in London and they require small holes in the doors (about 5/8')...not like the American ones, that require a standard larger hole.So, they call these handles "Euro" ; I thought that meant they might be for European fitting...I took the chance.I tried to read the reviews, but nothing about this was mentioned...So, the bad news is, I am forced to return them because they don't fit my weird doors. But they will work for you, with standard American doors and you should not hesitate to order them.They are 10X nicer than anything you will find for this price.I do wish they had them in a true lockable version so I could have used them on my exterior doors... I couldn't find them in that version.

I was somewhat reluctant to purchase this based on some of the reviews. I was prepared though, and took my time studying the diagram before I started prying things apart. Once I figure it out, it was a breeze. The instructions could be a little more clear, but really, the information is all in there. Please excuse the off color in one of the pictures, the picture with the green background shows the correct color of the handle, the handle color is totally off in the picture with the blue background.So, this is what I did:1. I pried away the cover by putting a small screw driver in the notch between the outer cover, and the interior rose. Especially for the inside door handle this was a tight fit, but I got it off in about 3 minutes. This is designed so that the outer cover hides the installation screws, giving the door handle a very polished, modern look.2. Then, with the allen key, I removed the small screw on the side of the door handle, so I could reverse the orientation of the handle. This is also necessary to screw the interior rose in. 1 minute.3. Because I had to change the orientation of the handle, I repeated this process on the outside handle as well. This cover came off in about 30 seconds, reversing the handle too about 2 minutes.4. I then installed the latch with the screws, put the exterior handle through and used a laser level to ensure the handle was level (it would bother me 'till the end of time if it wasn't level). Another 3 minutes or so.5. Then I installed the interior rose by screwing it into the exterior handle with the supplied screws. I made sure to test the lock at this point, by pushing in the lock, and verifying that it locked properly. ~ 3 more minutes.6. Then, I re-installed the interior handle with the small screw and the supplied allen key. 1 minute.The end-result: a beautiful, modern-looking handle installed in less then 15 minutes. I love it!

These are super heavy duty and very modern. Love them.

MAJOR safety risk! I love the look of these handles and they seem to be high quality and modern. Several months ago I bought nine of them for our home. I installed two and haven't gotten around to the others yet BUT I had trouble with one (and no problem with the other). The one that gave me issues simply wouldn't maintain a secure connection, it constantly pulled away from the door just slightly. Today the door will no longer open at all!!! This is a passage handle, not a privacy handle, that I installed in my child's room. I followed directions for installation but now I can no longer open the door. I had to try to rip off the handle so I can get in but it will only come so far and the release (where you install and remove the handle is on the inside!). I would've rated the handles 4 stars until today. Now we're not sure how we will get into my son's room. This would be a major safety issue if you had a young child sleeping in the room and you can no longer have access to the room. Now I have 9 of these handles and I'm afraid to install them.Update: second handle I've had to rip off the door today. See photo. The interior handle came off and door was closed. Screws (per directions) are accessible from inside only so only option was to rip off (for the second time) the handle. This is a serious safety hazard. And you can see how it smdamaged my door.

This is a great handle. Yes, getting the interior rose off the mounting bracket is a pain. I used the blade of a knife to carefully pry the two apart. Be careful using a screwdriver, because wedging the screwdriver blade between the two pieces creates stress bend marks in the outside of the rose. Here's a tip: once you get the rose and bracket *barely* apart, there is a lip on the bracket that you can use to slowly wedge the two pieces apart with the blade of a flathead screwdriver.Once the two pieces are separated, install is a snap. I really like that the interior rose covers the mounting screws, it makes it look very nice. The handle does feel solid after install; I don't anticipate any issues.

These door handles are amazing. They look great, they are easy to install, and they are a great value. I replaced ever door handle in my house with these and I get so many "Wow's" from guests. Who would have thought a door handle would get a "wow"?Some reviewers have said that they don't install level. Technically this is true. Like some other reviewers have mentioned, you need to level it off before putting the handle on. The first one took me about 30 minutes because I couldn't figure this out, but once I got it, the rest of the handles took about 5 mins each to install.

I love these. While they are not the best quality you have ever seen the price is GREAT. A little trickier to install than some but it comes with instructions if you need them. I love the look of them and they actually have a pretty nice feel to them. I have a total of 12 of these in my house, both the locking and non-locking kind and have had zero issues with any of them.

Quality is terrible and product is way harder to install than any other door knobs i've installed in my life

A little pricey due to being black, but looks very modern. Would recommend this brand, but be warned, you must use a plate mount on the door latch, straight cylinder is not an option.

It works, but the professionals that also installed the new door the handle is on said it was difficult to install in comparison to other handles. More disappointingly, the gold paint chipped -- in a very conspicuous spot -- during the installation.

Wouldn’t recommend. Handle is painted, paint was flaking off right out of the box
