I ordered the hot cocoa to give to my coworker for her birthday. We all had a little office party and the drink was delicious! Very pretty packaging would order more to give out as Christmas gifts.

The biggest complaint I saw about this product when ordering it was the price. But I figured "Hey, it's Ghirardelli, of course it's going to be expensive." So I went ahead and ordered it anyway. The person for whom I bought the gift let me try some and it was indeed really tasty. Would I spend that much on a box of four packets of hot chocolate for myself? No, even though it was really yummy, I'll settle for cheaper, slightly less tasty cocoa. However as a gift, I think it's great - nicer quality, and a flavor that is appreciated when one's own money isn't being spent on it.

My mistake for not reading the description closely. In my rush to purchase this quick little extra gift for out-of-town family I didn't notice that all of the contents are just four small packs of cocoa for $15. You can buy a regular box -8 packets- of hot cocoa (without the "fancy" packaging) for a fraction of this price (like 1/5)! My young son says, "It would be nice if you could give it one half of a star, or even zero."

Not worth the price.
