Perfect every day use pan
I’ve always trusted Lodge pans for their quality and durability. I picked this item because of that and also because of the beautiful design on the bottom. I also like the dual handles versus the single long handle. I purchased this primarily for my camper due to its space saving design. I used it in my home several times now already and can’t wait to use it at the campground. I bought the optional Lodge brand silicone handle protectors (also on Amazon) to make it easier and safer to handle the pan when it’s hot. This pan heats evenly and cooks beautifully. Terrific for browning meat and then popping directly in the oven to finish. It caramelizes vegetables wonderfully and cast-iron is very easy to clean and maintain. I’ve had no issues with this pan or any of the Lodge pans I own. Great product and made in the USA!

Great pan!
Perfect size, like the two handles, easy to clean. I cook with cast iron daily and have multiple sizes. This pan could become my favorite

FOOL ME TWICE
LETTER TO “NON DISCLOSED CAST IRON MANUFACTURING COMPANY” - (1/30/23): Dear “Non Disclosed Cast Iron Manufacturing Company”,I have just received my 2nd 10.25” Wanderlust double handle skillet after returning the 1st, because I assumed it was damaged. As it turns out, the second one is defective in the exact same areas (see images below). At first I thought that the grind marks were from “Non Disclosed Cast Iron Manufacturing Company” blatantly trying to pawn off a factory 2nd by grinding down the metal to match the outer contours of the rim. But after receiving this second pan, the grind marks are in the exact same place on both sides of the pan as they were on the first defective pan, so now I am curious if this is merely a poorly done part of the process. If so, then what is the point of going through all the trouble of fabricating a pan with such detail on the bottom, only to have it hideously marred up in two places with some kind of grinder? It really looks horrible, and I have been terribly disappointed, twice! NONE of my other “Non Disclosed Cast Iron Manufacturing Company” cast iron pieces have received this treatment. Not a single one, but they are a few years older at the very least. I can only assume QC is defecating the bed, or that “Non Disclosed Cast Iron Manufacturing Company” has lost its pride and integrity and now ships it’s garbage through Amazon. Either way, at nearly $50CDN for this pan, it is unacceptable. So, before I return this item to Amazon (again) and write a review (not going to bother ordering a third) in the form of a letter depicting my experience with “Non Disclosed Cast Iron Manufacturing Company” customer service department, please confirm whether or not this is now in fact common practice, a factory defect that “slipped by” QC, or if there is some other reason for this less than quality product.Sincerely,Disgruntled “Non Disclosed Cast Iron Manufacturing Company” FanREPLY FROM “NON DISCLOSED CAST IRON MANUFACTURING COMPANY” (1/31/23): Thank you for contacting “Non Disclosed Cast Iron Manufacturing Company”. Our cast iron products are cast in sand as they have been for over 100 years. The mold is not always perfect so yes, therefore on occasion we do have to grind off rough edges. You can see this and our complete process of how we make our cast iron skillets in the short, less than 3-minute video below. You will notice the grind action happening right around the 2-minute mark.MY CONCLUSION: So there you have it. If you feel like overpaying for hot garbage, please check out the “Non Disclosed Cast Iron Manufacturing Company” WonderCrap series, where they occasionally have to grind down the overcast metal 100% of the time. However, if you still insist on purchasing “Non Disclosed Cast Iron Manufacturing Company” cast iron products, may I suggest hunting for older pieces at garage sales, or perhaps adding a little extra tequila to grandmas morning tea. Other wise, please purchase your “Non Disclosed Cast Iron Manufacturing Company” products in person, so you can inspect the finish first hand and avoid being the proud owner of a lame excuse for a lame product.UPDATE 2/2/23: edited to exclude “feedback on the seller”.
