MXZONE V10 Filters - 4 Pack Replacement for Dyson V10 Cyclone Series, Absolute, Animal, Total Clean, SV12

Our Dyson V10 is about 18 months old now and suction power was really down on original performance. The filter warning light came on frequently even after cleaning. I thought I'd try a replacement filter (It wasn’t until I started looking for replacement filters that I found out they should be replaced every six months!)Off with the old filter, on with the new MXZONE and immediately the difference was obvious. The fit was perfect, suction power is restored to ‘as new’ levels and I’ve got a spare to use when the other is being washed and dried. Four stars for now, because the longevity has yet to be assessed, but I will update the review once they’ve had a fair test over time.Every product I review has been purchased with my own money and I receive no incentives from anyone. My Dyson V10 started to complain quite regularly that it was blocked. I'd always been in the habit of cleaning the filter, but one day despite washing and drying it the V10 still told me there was a blockage, and the Dyson website suggested a new filter might fix it. The price there was pretty eye-watering, so when I found these filters they seemed like a suitable replacement, and it was two for less than half the price of one official one as well...They come in a brown cardboard box, inside which there is also a cleaning brush. Fitting is easy - just unscrew the old filter from the end of your V10 and attach one of these in its place (they look the same, and the colour is identical to the original as well, albeit without the Dyson stickers.) Instantly my V10 worked flawlessly once more. Hurrah!I'm happy with these as a replacement. It's also handy having two filters in the box, as when you wash them they take a day or so to dry, so this means while one is drying you could switch to the other.

These filters are incredibly good value compared to the , admittedly, ludicrously overpriced Dyson original spares. They seem to work just as well, but too soon to tell if they have a decent life. Still at this price you could forgive them not lasting and anyway, the Dyson one hasn’t lasted well, which is why I needed the replacements.

Just as the title says - I thought these were a good buy - but basically the Hoover worked the first couple of times but even after cleaning the Hoover kept saying it needed a new filter. Cleaned and cleaned it but no good - finally bought a dyson filter and it works a treat! Save your time and money and get an authentic filter.

We have had the v10 absolute for 14 months. I regularly wash the filter that was originally included but last week when I put it back on the vacuum it didn’t work. The filter light would flash when I removed the filter, and stop when I locked it in, but then the blockage light would start flashing when I tried to use it.I followed all videos and instructions provided to clear any blockages and found none, but the light kept flashing and the vacuum would not work.I bought these filters and the vacuum started working just fine with no flashing warning lights.I’m glad there’s this cheaper alternative compared to the £30 branded ones!

The vacuum is brilliant and although expensive, is worth every penny. However, you need at least one additional filter and preferably two. The MXZONE replacements are a fraction of the price and every bit as good as the "Dyson" spares. As the filters clog up with dust in use, they must be washed and dried over 24 hours before re-use so they are essential to the continued use of the vacuum. The versatile nature of the machine means you can use it any time and its light weight is a real advantage. You have to own one to appreciate how easily you can do through the house, down the stairs, kitchen, bathrooms,all very efficiently.

Was apprehensive about buying non Dyson parts...but the machine appears to run quieter with these filters and the suction seems perfectly fine. I have cleaned several times now with the new filters and they havent needed washing yet (with the Dyson filter the machine only ran for about 15 mins at a time before the filter needed attention) I haven't had a chance to assess over a long period so have only given 4 stars but my general impression is that these are better than the Dyson parts for a fraction of the cost

I noticed a big difference in the suction power once it had been fitted. It comes in a two pack which combined with the original filter (when washed), will last the life of the machine as far as I'm concerned. Sturdy build quality at a fraction of the price.
