Much smaller than expected, but I'm glad. This baby puts out some serious SOUND. I wear hearing aids and with only one of them in it was too loud to keep on for more than a few seconds. Flashlight is BRIGHT for such a small one. I bought one for me and one for my 23 year old daughter. She glanced at it and said she didn't want it (spoiled brat, right?!). Then I pulled the cord for the alarm and showed her the flashlight and she was sold! So glad, because she often works til dark and she practically tips over in a breeze. I think an alarm and pepper spray is perfect for her, as she can't really fight back when she only weighs about 97 lbs.

Great key chain additive. People in the warehouse at work have them attached to their belt loops so if they fall or have an emergency they can pull the cord to alert others they need help. Good to have when there is only a few people in the building. Also would be great if someone gets attacked because it is loud and would most likely make the attacker run.

Compared to other devices I have seen, this is such an important security device and so simple to use. I chose this device because it was highly recommended in reviews but also by the local police in my area.I bought this for a friend who works alone as a property sales person who occasionally is by herself at night and she now feels much more at ease knowing she has this device with her.I chose blue as it compliments her clothing that she must wear for her work, but there are many other colours available.The alarm is activated by pulling a pin that then makes a very loud ear piercing noise that can only be stoped by replacing the pin. It would be almost impossible for an assailant to replace the pin in the dark or daylight if they don't know where to replace it, but they will also be panicking when they hear the noise that this produces and in most cases will run away before help can arrive.You can use the key chain ring to attach the device to your body via a belt loop etc or It doubles up as a key ring and the important thing is that your keys are secured on a seperate chain to the alarm pull cord, therefore this prevents the pin from accidentally dropping out due to the weight of your keys.This comes with a guide and explains how the device is powered and how to replace the batteries and what type of batteries are required.It has been proven by security experts that a load noise will frighten a potential attacker and therefore could save you in a horrible situation, if nothing else this alarm will attract attention and posssibly bring that much needed help in an emergency.I have also bought one of these for my elderly mother who uses it in case she needs our help, not from an assailant but in case she falls or has a problem due to her age.Great device that is not expensive and could easily save a life.

Great little item super loud much better than expected

I like the fact that it actually comes with the battery and ready for use, it’s a great size for my daughters to put on their bunch of keys so in an emergency it would be easy to use, I’ve got 2 daughters and feel safer with them having them, the noise🌟🌟very loud

I bought this for my partner who works nightshifts and for more than half the year walks to work in the dark.It looks quite well constructed and is surprisingly loud for such a small item. The little led torch is also quite bright for its size and a handy inclusion.To deploy the required noise simply tug hard on the lanyard/rip cord to release the pin and direct the sound at the presumably disoriented target's face until they flee. To silence simply reinsert the pin.Hopefully this will never need to be used in an emergency but may well be enough to scare off any cowardly scum that see lone women as an easy target (and here's news for them --- despite appearances she's NEVER been an easy target!).It takes 3 tiny button batteries of the type normally found in wristwatches, etc. I would expect such cells to last for many years on standby if not used but their effective 'operational time' when needed would be anybody's guess.
