I actually bought this for my 7yr old for a costume and it still fit him great! It’s a lot better quality than I expected. Well sewn, quality fabric with a faux suede feel, and cut in a way that it stays on your head well. The color came out a little more burgundy than true red, but I was fine with that.

More red toned than I expected, still a nice color; good material for cosplay.

I made a comment before about adding blue & purple & I'm glad I did. I got a purple one in this brand & like the red one, it does lose color but it's a really cute plum purple color- perfect for fall! I can't wait to wear this at an upcoming renaissance festival! Thank you for taking my perspective on color into consideration! It is so cute! The only real reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is because it does lose color in a wash but for the quality item you get- it's worth the price! Fabric is so soft & it looks stunning! I bought this for my daughter who loves archery and things like LOZ. This was very nice quality. Double layer of material so you have the outside look, but there’s actually a lining on the inside. I was impressed with the quality and would definitely recommend.

The piece just looked really cool looking when it was on and had more than adequate room around the neck and head. Amazingly good costume piece and worth the purchase overall.

I don't usually write reviews for the things I buy but I was so impressed by this that I felt the need. The hood is beautiful, very well made and is soft and supple. It fits perfectly, even though I have kind of a big head. It's a great value for the price, too. If you are looking for this type of item, look no further. THIS is the one to get!
