The media could not be loaded.  When removing from the box I immediately thought the bowl area was alot smaller than anticipated. It’s not very deep. I also thought “where’s the hand” as the pictures make it seem the hand is always it but it’s actually inside a trap door and then comes out by pressing nose in demo mode or coming out with motion sense. At first, I could not get the motion sending to work. Then I looked back at the photos and description and noticed one of the photos said “optimal performance is with a light above the top of the bowl” I played around with some of the lights on the house and the light has to be pretty bright. It only worked under my bright kitchen spot light and in the sunlight. Also, the bowl can’t be overly full of candy. It works best when you can see some black lip in the bowl. I’m hoping it’ll work when it’s dark outside under my porch light. I’ll have to test it later.

We used this for a trunk or treat that was IT 2 themed. We painted the orange white. It worked really well and had a good surprise factor when the kids reached in. Definitely worth it.

So bummed that it stopped working before Halloween. I bought it early October, added batteries and it was great! It was in my foyer and when I went to turn it back on today, it seemed like it needed new batteries, so we changed them but the hand was still slow, didn’t come out all the way, and the sounds were really low. Now I’m outside my return window. Don’t waste your money on this one 😕

Fun item but motion detectors don't work well

Great for treat or treaters

Had no idea this pumpkin was going to be so loud and screechy. The hand flew right off its base the first time we tried it and hit me in the neck. We’re unable to reattach it because the base retracts and you can’t reach it. Should have returned it but had already thrown out the boxes.

First one didn’t work at all, second one(the replacement), eyes lit up but hand never came out. Wish it worked. Cool idea, but definitely needs work and not worth the $$.

I purchased this item for my grandsons to enjoy but it did not even make it until Halloween. I changed the batteries twice thinking they might be faulty but it will only open up and make some noise but the hand won't come out. Do not buy!!
