The Times Cryptic Crossword Book 20 Paperback – May 1, 2016

I guess we all have different tastes but these Times puzzles are just unnecessarily convoluted and strangely unsatisfying to solve.If you're not British,over 60 and don't play cricket or read Greek mythology don't bother.I'm going back to Telegraph.More fun and tinged with some humour.

I bought these for my wife, as she is a huge fan of Cryptic Crosswords. She has one of these books with her at all times!

As always, the best in challenging cryptic puzzles. Now, if only I could solve all of them!

This is from the LONDON Times. Usages, spellings,slang, nuanced definitions can be as unsolvable a as in any foreign language.

Just the thing to while away a few hours of free time. Sharpens your brain and helps you appreciate the fact that the reading, education and time absorbing the minutiae of life's rich tapestry over the years has not been in vain. That being a nit-picker, detail-seeker and pedant has finally come good and taught you something - even if that something is just to be able to fathom the devious brain of those that are paid to irritate and tantalise us!

This is a googd selection - one of the more challenging collectons. Very enjoyable plus good product, good service.

good quality better than the ones you can buy in Spain although more expensive, but on the large side.

I've been hooked on the Cryptic Crossword for decades! Now that I can't access the Times of London on a daily basis, I'm glad to have this convenient way to get at least a sample of these wonderful, aggravating and unique crosswords. Keeps the mind in shape, don't you know!
