What the husband wanted!
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and I admit I did not know what it was, but he loves it. He has used it and said it is perfect and was exactly what he needed.

Nice set of dies.
Great set, used for my PA10 from Palmetto. Be sure if loading for a semi auto to set up your sizing die based on the headspace measurement obtained from your fired brass, otherwise you will probably bump the shoulder back too far and lose accuracy and hurt brass life. Hornady makes a kit to obtain this headspace measurement from your unsized, fired brass. You can also make your own bushing to do the same thing, even use a piece of pistol brass that will contact the shoulder of the rifle brass. Make sure it is perfectly square and it doesn't matter as long as it measures off the same spot each time.I don't use the bullet seater, I like Hornady's sliding system because I feel like it lines things up better and is easier to adjust.

First Batch good for now.
I was having trouble reloading for my M1A super match, casing shoulder was long and did not seat properly, so I tried the Small Base die. It seems to have fixed the problem of sizing the brass. First Batch of rounds plop effortlessly into my bullet checker gage.

Works but…
The dies are nice. After cleaning and lubing the die I ran a test case. The neck sizing button and decap pin pulled off the stem taking the threads on the stem with it. I’ve reloaded for over 40 years so yes I know what I’m doing! I had to cut the case open to retrieve the parts. RCBS did warranty the parts and sent a replacement.

Excellent product
As I've come to expect from just about everything rcbs stamps their name to they are excellent. Only thing I would suggest is stocking up on brass set screws. Theirs are very soft to avoid damage to the steel so the centers round easily. But do not change material as these save the integrity of the dies outer threads.

Great stuff. Have some extra "large" range brass that could not be resized in the regular full length sizing die. ordered this with prime service. It did save the day! Bought another set for .223 right away as I know there will be similar situation as well.

was perfect for my need resizing for semiaouto 308, chamber was to tight so I needed a small base die... only consi with rcbs die.. setscrew on nut can stop filing on die, and adjustment on decanting pin rod, still out fashion way!! flat screw driver...head always straps .. I have that
