This pack of lights let of a nice warm glow at night! I liked how it didn't just glow from the "glass" portion of the light; it has an open bottom so it also lights a little brighter underneath.This is a super lightweight light set. It has a look of metal and glass; however, it's all plastic. There is a tiny on/off switch inside next to the light panel, make sure you switch them on.These would be perfect on porch/deck steps, gazebos, around the pool, along the fence... The possibilities are endless (as long as sunlight can reach them anyway) my son was so excited to try them out that we charged one up and we used it as a nightlight for him that night. When it is placed on a flat surface, it's not as bright, so it worked perfectly for him.I did receive this pack complementary for my honest review; however all opinions expressed are my own.

Purchased 6 packages of lights for total of 12. Arrived quickly, easy to install and look really nice. All have the switch turned on and are in full sunlight. However, within less than a week 5 of the lights shut off after about 2.5 hours on. Within less than two weeks, 10 of the 12 shut off within about 2 hours. Per description, the lights should stay on 8 hours with a full 6 hour charge. Mine should easily be getting more than 6 hours of sunlight. I may try replacing the solar battery in one of the lights, which is not all that easy to get to, and see if a fresh battery makes a difference. I did contact the seller and asked about the batteries and if they would send me new fresh ones, but have not heard back. I do like the lights and would like to keep them if they can hold a longer charge. I am willing to go through the trouble to change out the batteries in all 12 lights if that would fix it - but would like to have those batteries provided by the seller.

These lights look pretty in the dark but they did not last through the night. One light worked slightly longer/better than the other. I monitored it being charged under different weather conditions, full day of hot sun to a few hours of sun on certain days and its performance did not differ much. It worked for about 3 hours max. The weird part is I got tired of trying to monitor it outdoor and one day I decided to bring it in and test it in the bedroom after a full day of charging it in the hot sun, and it died about 2 to 3 hours later, however, when I picked it up the next morning at about 9am and had one of the light's solar panel covered in my hand, the light came on again. I give this lights 3 stars for being pretty in the dark and for a decent price for two lights, but I'm not sure about its reliability if it's long hours that you are looking for.

They don't stay on for long. One is on, the others off. They need 100% sunlight for 6 hrs. I like the design and color temperature(3K) i'm going to disconnect the battery and the solar panel and run wires within my PVC post and connect a 12v LED transformer and hard wire them into a switch and control for a wall switch. I need them all on at the same time, or they look stupid(pardon my lang). I'm using in a alley, doesn't get enough sunlight, but they would be great. I'll send a picture when i'm done.

I bought a pair and they worked great all summer - I put them on our pool deck so people could see when they were out there - over the Winter of 2014-2018 one stopped working so I got these as replacements. They are nice.. am hoping they both last through winter until next year! Either way good and inexpensive portable lighting

Initially, very nice looking and worked great. After 1 summer in partial light, the screen on one has glazed over and barely charges now.

We ordered two sets. One of the four stopped working. Overall great value for the money though. We are still very happy

If you are looking for a rather dim light, this is it for you. One stays somewhat lit for about five hours, but the other makes it only about hours. Both are in direct sunlight all day so that's not the issue. I wish they were a little brighter and lasted longer.
