Good Stuff
This is a great read. I am still enamored with a magazine I can hold in my hands and this, in addition to the online version fills the need.

New Construction Quality is Poor
While I think that Newsweek is still producing quality journalism and I enjoyed reading it, the quality of the construction of the magazine itself has recently gone down the tubes. When I first started my subscription, Newsweek was printed on quality paper and bound together. For this reason I was able to pop it in and out of my bag throughout the week and it really took a beating. A month or so ago,I received a copy printed on wafer thin paper and held together by three flimsy staples. It didn't make it through Wednesday before it started to fall apart. I feel a little guilty cancelling my subscription because they still do good work, and I know the print media is dying, but the publisher should recognize that folks who opt for print in the first place over digital are doing so for the tactile experience. The touch the feel. Anyway, just my two cents. If you are not concerned with any of this, then please subscribe because it is good journalism.

Don't bother
I sent this to my daughter and she has received only two copies in the past few months. The magazine is pitifully thin and carries more ads than articles of depth. So sad to see this once recognized magazine go down the tubes. Don't waste your money. I am hoping I can get the subscription cancelled.

What journalism should be
Intelligent, long form investigative journalism front-and-center. Kurt Eichenwald has been among the few American journalists actually living up to their title over the past year or so. The publication is nicely put together as it has always been. Worth sustaining and supporting in this day and age of fake news and talking heads spouting propaganda.
