Great iron for professional look results.
This iron is a real find for the money! I don’t have the ability to suspend a gravity feed iron which is what I used formerly. There are many levels of heat and it can get really really hot! I highly recommend a Teflon “shoe” for an iron like this to prevent scorching. I would personally never touch unprotected steel to fabric.Proper pressing is they key to a professional looking finish. Iron is lightweight, no strain that I can feel. For the novice, your ironing board must have a layer of felt.Super easy to refill, distilled water is my recommendation to extend the life of the investment.

Amazing Product AND Customer service
This iron is an awesome product, just like all dupray products. I've tried quite a few of them and liked them all. The steam is stronger then all other company steam irons. I even recommended this product to quite a few of my friends, who also are extremely satisfied with it. It is comfortable to use with great results.Their customer service is also awesome. If you have a problem with any of the dupray products the agents are available via email to providers support in a professional yet personal style. I emailed with an agent Sarah Léonie Boyer at ext. 624 who was extremely helpful. I would recommend purchasing dupray products.

Great iron!
Finally an ironing steam station that works. The steam is enough, the clothes are perfect without big effort and it doesn't leaks! After trying for years other expensive brands that definitely didn't worth the money I found a decent iron.

Big difference especially for large clothing
My partner doesn't like it because she thinks there's too much steam gushing which is true. Usually this happens when the steam is initially at high pressure, but once you start ironing it will fall to manageable extent. But If you live in a hot weather or your room is not air conditioned, you might get hot pretty quick. Lots of continuous steam. Requires very little effort to iron. So far see no leaks or water at all.Only thing is that even though they say the water in the tank will last for 1 hour, , that all depends. For e.g. we iron 2-3 6 ft table linens and it takes about 15-20 mins. The tank is done. So only thing is is that if they have made the tank larger (say 1 gallon instead of 1 litre), that would have been great. I mean the tank is separated from the iron anyways, and it has to sit on the floor or some place separate, so why not make it bigger so if you're doing a lot of ironing you can atleast last for 1 hour. Because the problem is that if it runs out, you've to wait for it cool down for 10 mins or longer to refill. And like I said, if you you do 3 table linens in 20 mins you're looking to refill again and wait for 10 mins .I wish the company makes a larger tank for a commercial style model.ONE OTHER ADVICE FOR BUYERS : To ensure you have clean operation and prevent gunk and clogging that can damage the iron and steam lines , the best thing what we do, is put in only distilled water. I know, I know, we hear people saying..are you crazy, distilled water is expensive. A bottle is like $7. But we found a solution. We bought a water distiller on amazon for just $100 or so, and it can make a gallon in 6 hours or so. We do that every day and fill up a large quantity and use it in the iron. No more gunk,, or cleanup or clogging or steam dirt ruining your clothes. It will also save the life of your iron. And please note bottled water is not same as distilled water. Bottle water still has minerals added which can build up gunk.

Defective
I purchased a DUPRAY STEAM IRON, 1/6/2018 from Amazon and Ban Ban Supply was the shipper. This iron has became defective! Went back to the manufacturer to get repaired under warranty. They informed me that you were not an "AUTHORIZED RESELLER" and would not be able to either extend my warranty or repair. I'm now holding the bag for this product and now wondering what your going to do to get me whole with this product which should have been covered with a warranty.

great steam generator iron for the money
We had this same product when it was marketed as a Reliable steam iron. It has changed brands to Dupray. The last one lasted over 10 years and is by far the best type of iron to purchase. The steam generated is very powerful.

Best Iron I have found!
Well worth the money. Does a great job of steaming without spitting. Cut my ironing time in less than half. Love the comfortable cork handle. Easy to refill when iron is hot, only a few minutes to start generating steam again. Closest thing I have found to what I used in commercial design room.

Broke almost immediately - but good support
When it worked, it was ok. The plastic body felt a bit on the cheap side. The iron wouldn’t stay standing because the heavy hose pulls down too much and tips it over. The cork handle was nice, and it did produce lots of steam after a long warmup. But it didn’t even last three months. Or no longer keeps the pressure stable. It heats with full power, building up pressure until it’s venting large amounts of steam out of the emergency release valve. I guess the emergency release valve works, so there’s that. I gave it one star for not exploding and killing someone. But the emergency valve is for emergencies, not every time the iron is used, and there’s nothing else to keep it from becoming a bomb. Overall, considering the cheap build and clearly crappy construction, it’s probably worth $60-70 retail. What a mistake. They didn’t even try to make a quality product.Follow up - The company replaced the iron. I still wish the body were built more solidly, but I really do enjoy using it. The handheld iron is well built. I like the cork grip. It produces tons and tons of steam. The hose well made. My only complaints are that it takes time to heat up (a good five min), and the iron doesn’t like to stand on its end. The hose is supposed to pivot to allow this, but doesn’t pivot all the way. It works if you put it on the edge of the ironing board so the hose can hang down, or on the resting plate on the body of the iron, so it’s not a critical issue. Overall, because they fixed it, and because it, and because I really like using it, I’m changing the rating to a 4 out of 5.

excellent steam time
I use it for quilting. Only minor beef is the steam cord tends to curl and could maybe be a bit longer

Looks good and works great
Looks good enough to leave it out. Very neutral. I don’t understand why other insist on making irons in purple etc.
