This is an extremely easy-to-use connector for single color LED strip light. Even not professional, you can easily handle it. It can be used as strip to strip connecting or re-joining cut strips. For waterproof strip light: you need to sweep off the silicon first (be aware not to cut through the circuit board). Then open the connector and lock the strip under the plate. For non-waterproof strip: just cut the strip as you need (cut every 3 LEDs), then open the connector and lock the strip under the plate. Everything finished in a few minutes without soldering. BTW, make sure to match the positive(+) and negative(-) marks on both strips.If you feel there is a loose connection, thicken your strip light by adding an extra chip in between and make sure the built -in soldering point touches your strip light tightly.
