Pexio Folding Hand Saw

This is a great saw. Very sharp. I like the fact that the blade locks open as well as locks in the closed position. I'm using it on a kayak to clear branches from a stream. That's why the locking feature is so important for safety. It also has an attachment point for a line. Unexpected good design and product for an extremely reasonable price.

My landlord told us we needed to cut our trees in the back yard so I bought this sweet instrument. It cut through pretty easily- it only took a few minutes. The tree wasn't too thick though, less than a foot in diameter.After cutting the two trees, the blades (or teeth?) look as sharp as it came. Wonderful product. .made my task easier than I thought.

I bought this to replace a similar Fiskars saw that had been my faithful companion for years. I've only used the Shviro saw a few times, but it seems to be very comparable to my old saw... It fits the hand nicely, it fits in the leg pocket of my overalls, it chews through wood nicely. My only two issues are that the handle seems a little flimsy and needed tightening when it arrived, and the company has e-mailed me nearly every day pestering me to write a review (kind of annoying). Other'n that all's good!

The recent Hurricane Matthew caused a lot of downed trees and branches. I'm much too old to be slinging my chain saw around, so I've been sawing away with my new little saw. It's great for branches, but I've also found that, with perseverance, I've been able to saw trunks up to 6 inches in diameter.A quality product at a good price. Unusual these days.

We are enjoying using the SHVIRO hand saw. It is a demon! Cuts right through the saplings we're trying to remove now that the leaves are down. I can think of many uses for this saw where, in the past, I've used loppers or pruners. This will be safer and easier. I would buy this again.

Where has this little goodie been the last 40 years of my life. A must for every home gardener with small trees and shrubs.

A bit smaller than I thought it would be from the images, but works great. Makes quick work of medium branches (those too thick to be cut by a hatchet.

I haven't used this saw much yet, but did test it on a very hard/dry/dead branch that needed to go. I appreciate the push/pull action of the saw blade since there was limited room to remove the branch. Worked great and removed the branch quickly and smoothly.
