Savannah Bee Company Royal Jelly Body Butter Tupelo Honey - 6.7 Ounce Jar

My wife loved this Savannah Bee Body Butter and used it daily. I bought a new jar of it when her old one ran out. She opened it, started putting some on and said "Why did you order me the wrong body butter!" After defending myself and a quick search online, I confirmed it wasnt my error. (WHEW!) We discovered there was a sticker covering the bottom of the box, peeling it back revealed a major formula change. The body butter smells different, feels different, and my wife didnt like it. It no longer is listed as "All Natural Ingredients" and you can Google all the scientific names of the stuff they added. Very disappointed in Savannah Bee Company, they have had awesome products up to this point. I would have gladly paid a few dollars extra to keep the previous high quality formula. Returning and will never buy again.

Been a huge Savannah Bee fan for years and always get my husband a jar of the Royal Jelly for Xmas, as it worked wonders on his skin.Got it this year and something is different. Gone are the natural scents, and when opening the jar you are assaulted by a chemically sweet, artificial scent.But worse than that, when using the product after a bath this evening, his skin IMMEDIATELY went bright red and swollen anywhere the cream touched, and he said it feels like an incredibly bad sunburn. Trying to wash it off now.Also, no other products were used anywhere near this one. His bath was just hot water and relaxation, no changes to anything in our household such as cleaners, detergents, etc.We have been together for 10 years and this is the first time anything like this has happened to his skin.I emailed the company with the batch info and questions about the fake smell and inquiring if the formal is different. Wanted to get this out there in case anyone else could have similar issues when using a product that they're familiar with. The batch number is #24272A and indicates it was manufactured on 10/20.Be careful!

This is an excellent body cream. Very rich while also being non-greasy. Really helps with dry skin issues. Appreciate the all natural / non-toxic ingredients. The reason I give four stars rather than five is the scent. It's not awful, but it's also not natural smelling. Very sweet and lingers too long. I had used the blackberry scent for a long time, but then became self conscious about the blackberry scent after people around me commented on how strong and sweet and fruity I smelled. This one (tupelo honey) seems a little less overbearing. But it would be ever so nice if Savannah Bee could produce this same cream in an "unscented" version? I realize that honey and beeswax has a scent of it's own, and that unscented would still have a natural smell......but that would be ever so much better than the current perfumey odor of the creams. I'll keep buying and using this cream because it's so nice for my skin. But I sure am wishing and hoping for an unscented version someday. Thank you.

I was really excited for this lotion but when I put it on, the smell was so strong and unpleasant that I got a headache. I usually love scents and perfumes of all kind but this was too much. I tried a couple weeks later, and my body broke out in a red rash. I am pregnant, so I am probably more sensitive than others, but still, the scent is oppressive and unnatural. I bet the lotion is probably great, so it's a shame the strong scent has to ruin in.

I love the feel on my skin. It makes my skin so luxurious and smooth. I enjoy smelling the cream and I just love dipping it out of the jar....it feels so nice. The jar is so pretty I will use it for a flower vase. The box is unbelievable in presentation. It makes me feel as tough I am getting a new treasure!!!! I love it!
