the one I got had no tag.
It's also smaller than what was described. It is beautiful and warm, but it's much smaller than what I had hoped for. There is not enough material to wrap yourself with. And i'm tiny. But there is enough material to drape it over you when you sit. It smelled natural and was lightweight and beautifully colored. feels like the material of a fine men's suit.

Feels Like Wool to Me!
This is not heavy, but I wouldn’t describe it as lightweight. I would guess that it weighs about 5-6 ounces. To me, that is the first indication that it is wool. It is not thin. The fabric is very soft and I believe it to be wool as advertised, but I have no idea if it came from a yak or not. :) Although I feel I know my fabrics quite well; wool, cotton, linen I love and I believe this is definitely wool, or a very high percentage wool blend. It has a slightly fuzzy feel which you do not find with synthetic material; the fibers are longer and the fabric feels more slick. It’s not just soft when you grab a handful, but it is soft to the fingertips. As other reviews have mentioned, mine does not have a label either. I like to follow the recommended washing instructions, so it was the first thing I looked for. This was a little disquieting, but I chalked it up to being handmade, not mass produced. If you bought an item at a craft fair, you would probably not want it to have a barcode.Overall, I love it and feel like I got a great deal. And the color is gorgeous. Somebody knows how to die wool. :)
