I used this to color the icing of a lemon cake. It was the perfect lemon color and a good indicator to my guests what the flavor of this cake would be before they tasted it. No one wants to be shocked by a surprise flavor. This is not butter yellow. It's a pretty, crisp, lemon yellow.

I got this americolor soft gel paste in lemon yellow color;I was making my granddaughters wedding cake and she wanted the frosting in three shades of pale yellow.I liked this gel as I had to make 69 cups of cream cheese frosting and the 10 different size squares different shades oflight pale yellow...I worried that the food coloring would make the frosting not work.....and then when I was lookingfor something else for the frosting....ran across the AMERICOLOR Soft Gel Paste........the colors turned out well.the gel did what it was suppose to do with making the frosting them....and held its shape.Thank you and lots of smiles for this company.
