Great Light At A Low Cost (Product + Electric Bill!)
I purchased this item on my own with no compensation for this review. Please click on Helpful at the bottom of this review if what I wrote is useful to you.I love nightlights that help me navigate through my house after dark. I have two in every room. It’s like there’s a constant moonlight in my house. I also have three I carry for road trips to put in my hotel room.20 years ago, these nightlights were 7 watts. Then they became more efficient and went down to 3 watts. But they were still incandescent bulbs, which meant that if you even jostled it, the filament broke and you needed to buy new bulbs. You’d be lucky to get one working bulb out of any four pack purchased anywhere because their filaments were so thin.Enter LEDs! These are less that 1 watt each, and don’t have any filament in them to break. So I have been using them a lot.As I cleaned up rooms in my house, I found I had the need for some more bulbs, so I got these. The price was good, and they looked similar to what I had before. As you can see in my photo, the light has a slightly warmer color than what I had before. If you weren’t comparing two next to each other you would never know. But the photo does show a slightly warmer cast to it, which I prefer. For the money, you can’t beat having nightlights that do all the work for you, turning themselves on and off, and using less than 1 watt of electricity when running. Highly recommend.

Not as "warm" as you might expect
These weren't as "warm" as expected. Some years ago, I went to a local drug store and picked up some nightlights, just like these. They have incandescent bulbs and cast nice, amber warm light. These don't--see my pic: the top nightlight is the old, incandescent one, and the bottom is the one I got here. These aren't bad lights--they're LED bulbs, so I guess that saves energy. But I dinged this star rating down because I just don't think these can legitimately be called warm as listed. Could send them back, but I'll probably just figure out a way to tint or shade the bulb myself to get that amber glow.

Well they blow out with nearby when lighting strikes
My earlier review for this product was about the color. They now have this described correctly as a white warm 2700K,My latest issue is that two of these both stopped working right after a thunderstorm. Lightning hit nearby and these two lights both failed. Nothing else in the hose was damaged as best as I can tell. This is likely because other eletrical devices are either a) not sensitive to secondary lighting effects or b) they have internal built in protection (such as a protected outlet strip. Now being the engineer, I opened up one of the dead units and found a perfect space to solder in a MOV (metal oxide varistor - V250LA10P). This will protect the working units from at least some secondary lighting strikes. I know it voids the product warranty but it will save me a whole $1.42 each when the next nearby storm comes (and they will).Of course the manufacturer should build this protection into the device themselves. But then they will cost 0.20 more each.Enjoy and remember the engineer in me did NOT tell you to do the same thing to your devices. I take no responsibility for what you modify.

Decent nightlight; Significantly whiter & brighter than 4 & 7 watt incandescent
I first purchased these nightlights almost two years ago but never got around to writing a review. I've purchased several more since then to replace old incandescent nightlights when the light sensors die. These LED lights produce a white light, do not appear blue, and are considerably brighter than four and seven watt incandescent lights. If you're looking for something that casts a warm glow, these may not be the best choice since the light also reflects from drywall and tile. The attached comparison photos might help. From left to right in both photos are: 1) First generation LED bulb; 2) New Emotionlite LED bulb; 3) Four watt incandescent bulb; and 4) Seven watt incandescent bulb.I haven't had any issues with the initial lights I purchased but I don't know how long they'll actually last, thus the four star rating.

Two out of the four are duds.
I needed night lights in the house (bedroom, bathroom, and hallway) because my two pre-school aged grandchildren were moving in. And I chose this pack because of the average customer rating. Now maybe I just got a defective pack, but so far, two out of the four lights have turned out to be complete duds -- they worked for about a day, then gave out. It's way too much of a hassle to return them, so I'm just calling it an eight-dollar lesson learned. In any case there's no way I'm buying them again, and I do NOT recommend them.

Too bright, but fixable
Way too bright!! But as others have said, it can be easily "turned down" by covering the LED with tape or paper. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice tint of these lights - a nice neutral white. The description says 2700-3000K but it's definitely closer to 4000K or more. Still nice for a bedroom or anywhere really. Again, these are very bright for night lights. I put one in my 22x26' garage and it's great! I can walk around, take the trash out, get shoes, go to the work bench, etc. without tripping on stuff. If your eyes are night-adapted, like waking up in the middle of the night, the brightness would be even more overkill. For hallways in my home, I had to wrap the dome over the LED about 6 times with a strip cut from a sheet of paper, then some tape, to reduce the brightness. The bonus was that it softened it up real nice so there wasn't a bunch of "streaks" of light from the clear cover.I can't comment on the life of these yet, so hopefully I won't be coming back to report them dead after a short time.

2 out of pack of 4 stopped working after just 2 days
I bought this pack and started using 1 light right away, and it so far works. I started using another 2 from the same pack 06/25, and by 06/27 both stopped working. I didn't try the last one yet. Just wanted to let everybody know that this is a good product when and till it working, but if 2 of 4 not working pretty much right away - be cautious making your decision for buying at "good" price, since practically price per unit doubles.

Bright light, intuitive sensing of dusk and dawn
The glow from the night light is a soft white yet casts enough light to make hallways/bathrooms visible at night. It is a bit too bright for my liking outside the bedroom door so I would still prefer a motion sensor there but I will use this in the downstairs hallway and bathroom. It does a good job of sensing the natural light in the house, only turning on when it starts to get darker outside. Great value for price; with an estimated 50,000 hours from each light we'll have these night lights for years!

Much brighter than I'd thought
I bought the 6-pack thinking I'd only use a couple of them but i liked them so much that I plugged them all in around the house. I've had other LED nightlights before and they've always been disappointing. These ones were really bright. Also, it's kinda cool that they don't just turn on/off depending on the brightness of the environment. They start slowly and grow brighter as the sensors detect it getting darker. I dunno, maybe this is common but it's new to me, so that means it's new!I use these in the hallways of my house because frankly one would be too bright to plug into a bedroom outlet. I like dark bedrooms, especially as my physique starts to show my age :-) So, if you're looking for a decently bright nightlight at a good price, I recommend these ones.

HIGH QUALITY PERFECTION FOR OUR NEEDS
Love these so much! I bought two packs of six because with three young kids, we were leaving way too many lights on all night to avoid their fears. These lights are placed all over the house and are enough light that we turned off our lights for the first time in 8 years...looking forward to seeing the new power bill in a month to compare the difference. Also, the lights are dim enough that its never too bright...what a positive change in the home for us!

Perfect nightlight
I have these all over my house and they work well when I need to get up in the middle of the night. The light sensor works well and automatically turns on when the room is dark. They are the perfect simple nightlight!

Great!
Amazing product! Good price!Keeps me from banging any toes when walking through my house at night! Have one in the bathroom, kitchen and living room. Not sure what to do with the fourth one yet. I'm sure the LED lights are easy to replace, haven't had any burn out yet. It's always on right until sunrise, love them.
