TheraClip ST Storage Clipboard

So, I'm writing this review kind of late. I absolutely LOVED this clipboard when I purchased it back in January. The information on the clipboard was fantastic and the utility of the clipboard was great. But, I had the same issue as others. The information started to rub off the clipboard only a month or so after I bought it. I was super upset so I tried to buy another one, and unfortunately it was unavailable. I was so excited to see that they released the clipboard again with new protective coating (not sure how good it is, I have yet to purchase a new one) but I was so disappointed to learn that they redesigned the clipboard to remove the handle. The handle was so useful! And now I'm debating on whether or not to purchase a replacement one because I really liked the handle and I'm just not sure if the clipboard is going to be as useful without it. The handle made it so convenient and easy to carry, especially if your hands were full with other stuff.

I really wanted to like this clipboard. And I am sure that if you are reading this review you are also likely a speech pathologist. I included two pictures that I hope you find helpful. The first shows that the front face of this Slides all the way out and becomes a flat clipboard without storage, which is very handy. That unfortunately is about all I liked of this clipboard. The second picture - I tried to zoom in on one of the corners, because at every corner there is an open hole into the storage area. Not only can small items come out, but it made the overall clipboard feel cheap, it was also loud and I felt would be distracting to patients and clients. Regarding the information that is printed on the front and back of the flat portion : if you are a student clinician, or A CFY you would likely find it useful, if you are beyond that, the information is pretty basic and you likely would know it already. Lastly, it is not made in the USA. This is being returned.

I really like this board it is convenient and use to use. I enjoy the information on it and like how it can store large amounts of paper and pencils inside. The only problem I had with the board is that the words DO rub off. I suggest following the advice offered here and mod podge the board as soon as you receive the item.

I really liked the clipboard except some of the back of it ended up coming off. I’m not sure if it’s from me holding it or what but i definitely recommend putting a protective film or something on the back of it to prevent this from happening. other than that, i’ve enjoyed using it. i put tape on it to hopefully help with it coming off.

Might be good to consider some type of laminate. The information started wearing off within a month or two.

I was so in love with this when I saw it. Unfortunately, a few days went by and I noticed that the material was not the best. The material that is on the clipped board is slowly turning black and coming off.

Bought it for my wife for Christmas. She claims she likes it. I hope she is telling the truth. haha.

A little difficult to open, however; my biggest issue is after two uses the text began to peel off. Will be returning.
