Read what this kit holds and decide if this is what you are looking for compared to a "trauma" type kit with bandaids and such. I wanted a kit to take to the gun range as insurance against a major emergency wound with possible heavy blood loss. This kit is being used by Americas finest from Irag to Afganistan attesting to effectiveness. The complete unit is very lightweight to carry and attached molle straps will mount to chest, belt or leg rigs easily. The sides of the pouch inside are reinforced with a strip of hard plastic sewn to help hold the pouch in a full open position as kit is removed or inserted. The kit itself sits inside a folding Cordura blanket that velcros to itself when stored yet pulls out as a whole unit for use. Contents fit wall to wall but minor additions might be added with imagination such as Sharpie or slim profiled aspirin tube and such. Sized roughly 5.5" wide x 7" tall x 2.5" deep the IFAK takes little space compared to possible advantages to it's carry.

my only complaint is the"multi cam) is way way WAY more tan than all my multi cam kit... almost a desert tan.. but everything else is just as it should be
