Beachcombers Glow in the Dark Glass Jellyfish 5.5 Inch Tall

This is quite a nice size and pretty heavy at almost 6" tall. The base is 1.5" wide and the widest part is about 4". When I first got this I noticed it has a large air bubble ( 3/4" across) right on the edge of the jellyfish cap that is pretty noticable. Fortunately the LED base I have for it is stationary, and if I turn the bubble to the wall I don't notice it. This would not work if you were using a rotating light base where you would see all sides. I also noticed that after sitting on the LED base for about an hour, the jellyfish hardly glowed at all. However, when I held it close to a bright halogen lamp source for about 30 seconds, it glowed strongly for about a minute and then faded. So it does glow in the dark but not strongly for very long. However, it is really nice just sitting on an LED stand. All in all it's an interesting gift, but I'm not sure it's worth the $30 I paid. I would have given 5 stars if there hadn't been the big bubble.

Very pretty, heavy and looks great with a color changing light base. Mine doesn't glow in the dark as I expected, but it's nice anyway.

This was not as pretty as I had expected. It has a lot of little bubbles in the glass and the actual jelly fish was really pale. I think its still pretty but would probably look for something in a different color next time.

I have three of these on LED light stands around my aquatic plant bowls and fish tanks and they are truly stunning.

I have 2 others and this one is my favorite. It is big and heavy, as it should be. The price is unbeatable and it will go with any color scheme. I have it on a white led round base and it is a real show-stopper. You will not be disappointed. If you expect it to glow in the dark, you need to stand right next to it, but I didn't expect it to glow.

Too many bubbles, not clean. I love these, but this is second rate, compared to the ones I have previously seen.

Aside from the fact that it arrived broken it is still an amazing piece I mean gorgeous. It is heavy (which is why I was so surprised at the thin layer of packaging film to protect it and loose, just rolling around in the box) Anyway, I digress, I would want another but would be fearful of the same issue, no bubble wrap, or packaging pillows...very odd to place something of this weight loose in a box?? I truly do love this item though.
