Size up
Good quality trainers. They look good as well but you may have to size up by half, possibly a full size if wearing thicker socks. I can be size, 8, 8.5 or 9 depending on the brand and size 8.5 just about ok with thin socks for these trainers.

Returned the item
The fit was ok and comfortable apart from one bit. One one foot the seam extra attaching the tongue pushed my big toe knuckle. The more I wore it the more I could feel it making wearing them uncomfortable and when I took the shoe off the was a red mark on the skin. So I returned them, which was a shame as apart from that it was fine, and looked like a good pair of waterproof trainers. As it was a seam causing the rubbing I wasn't willing to hope it would break in after time (more likely to spend their life in the back of the wardrobe).

It depends on what you want them for
Prior to this I actually purchased some new balance trainers two years ago based on someones recommendations due to suffering from plantar fascitis. The ones I purchased then were memory foam and for runner or epole with plantar fascitis. I wore those for over a year witha good pair of insoles, stretched my calves etc egularly and my PF healed. I then decied that I need to continue with the new balance theme, This time though I did not want canvas/cloth trainers. My specifications this time was for a new balance trainer that is black, waterproof, wide fitting for my bunion, durable and strong but comfortable to wear for over 8 hours a day as I work in a hospital and stand for long periods. Well I found these on Amazon and purchased two pairs.I have only just submitted a review as I have worn them for the first time today and they were comfortable and did not sqeeze my feet. I picked the perfect fitting (x wide) and feel that I wll be able to wear them all day. I do not anticipate any problems with these, unless they rip, so on that basis I have scored them so far I am very happy that they tick all boxes thus far. Thanks

They have shiny plastic sole which makes them dangerous to wear.
I wear New Balance all the time & wanted them for bad weather, not to slip & slide over.

Amazing trainers
These are my second pair as my first ones were so worn out they let in water! I had had them over 10 years so I expect these to last as long as those did. I need an ee fit and I bought half a size bigger for the room. They feel like slippers. Ideal for those who need extra toe box room. New Balance are recommended by Diabetes UK. They are amazing. Buy some. You won't be disappointed.
