Sorry the item was more brass colored than our antique brass light.

Everything about this lantern is perfect. It was a replacement for a similar style but this one is much nicer.Also, was able to use a dusk to dawn bulb so I never have to worry about putting the light on or shutting it off in the morning.

Product was packed in a thick, sturdy box with other boxes and packing inside. Everything was intact and nothing was missing. I purchased 3 of the 4 light fixtures. These lights are worth at least double the price. They are 2X larger than comparable fixtures in this price range. They really 'pop' and enhanced the curb appeal of our home. I am 100% satisfied and highly recommend this product.

These look nice but are very cheaply made in China. I'm sure I'll be replacing them before I planned to.

I was looking for square lanterns and couldn't find what I wanted. These were a nice alternative and the price was right. They look nice outside and its very easy to replace bulbs as needed

We liked it so much for outdoor lighting we replaced all our outdoor lights. So now we have 5.

If you have a surface mount box (as we do in our greenhouse), or the box extends above the wall, you cannot use this light without significant rework. The part of the light that mounts to the wall is very shallow and it will stand away from the wall. It needs to be about an inch deep, as it is on other lantern lights we've used. The screws for the light mount are too long in that case, and you will need shorter brass screws or a spacer for each. The metal is very thin as well, and you have to be careful not to deform it. As a result, the two screws that attach the light allows the top to stand away a bit, from the wight of the light, even though the sides are flush to the wall.

I ordered the one-light 14” fixture, but was sent the much larger (and more expensive) 2-light fixture. The design is different in addition to the number of lightbulbs. See photo of box that shows the correct item but the amazon label is wrong. I returned it, whatever. Seemed nice, packed well, wasn’t broken, but much too large. Beware that 14” is the height of the glass lantern portion only...the entire 2-light fixture is closer to 22”. It is massive!!
