It works. It's a bit difficult to unscrew the top but with perseverance you'll get it. My kids love the changing colors.

Love this little machine. So lightweight and puts out a good amount of aroma. Great feature is the automatic shut-off if it runs out of water. It makes it easy to fall asleep to. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!

This Aroma Diffuser is so pretty and works great. I order it a little bit skeptical because I had bad experiences in the past (burned, hot, not enough aroma) but this one really works great. I love the fact you can choose the color you one to use depending of your mood, company or the hour of the day.Important: It makes no difference the color you choose, all the diffuser have the option to change the color you want or use random mode (see my video) I totally recommend this product for functionality, beauty and price.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I have been provided this GRDE Aroma Diffuser from the distributor in exchange for a review. However, this in no way obligates me to write either a positive or negative review. I do hate dishonest reviews and lazy hyperbole and refuse to provide it. If a product is poor, I have no compunctions about saying so. I should point out that there appears to be absolutely no difference between this diffuser and the VicTsing diffuser I reviewed back in January. My guess is that it is the same company selling the same product under different names.My wife was especially thrilled about seeing this diffuser arrive here and we attempted to set it up. No manual is obviously included and other than lifting off the top piece we weren't quite sure where to go from there. We looked in and could see what appeared to be an instruction manual underneath the white cover but couldn't figure out how to get to it. I went on line to see others of this type and learned that you had to twist the wooden base which has a very thin seam so that the two parts of the wooden base would unscrew. The first time I did it took some strength and I was afraid of breaking something which did not happen. My suggestion is that the instructions should be included inside the box and not inside the diffuser or, at least, to start, on the box.I found the manual to be somewhat confusing, especially in the areas of what the W & P designated buttons on the sides of the diffuser were to mean. There are two charts and after awhile, I figured out that either of these buttons should be pressed multiple times to create different color effects.Especially important you are instructed not to fill the diffuser with too much water, no more that 160 millimeters. You can add 2-5 drops of scented oils to add a pleasant scent to the air. Once plugged in with the supplied AC cable, the Aroma Diffuser begins to do its job and it has been running steadily for over 8 hours now emitting a steady stream of humidifying steam and whatever scent my wife put in there. She loves it.The base of the diffuser does not get too warm but you are advised to keep the diffuser on a flat plain as tilting it might spill the contents and cause a problem.The single LED changes colors and looks especially cool in a dark room. With the unobtrusive and tiny buttons on the bottom part of the base you can set the diffuser to either keep one color or constantly but slowly change colors. As advertised this diffuser is extremely quiet and will shut itself off if there is no water left in the well. The water and oils do not run out quickly, it will easily run for about 12 hours before any refilling is necessary. The steam generated by the diffuser is supposed to help in the relief of colds, flu and general congestion. I cannot attest to this since I am currently feeling healthy but it certainly can't hurt. The diffuser will work for about 8 minutes and then temporarily shut down for 3 minutes and start again. I believe that this is done to prevent heat build up. The unit is definitely safe, however, being paranoid about leaving devices turned on while out of the home, my advice is to shut if off if you intend to leave the house for work or whatever.You are advised to gently clean the inside of the water well with a few drops of dish soap and a soft cloth...do not hold it under the spigot of your sink.This GRDE diffuser really works well and looks just as good, very classy in its own way and would fit in with really any decor.While this is a 5 star product, I do wish they had placed the instructions somewhere where you didn't need instructions to get to them.I do hope that this brief review has been of some help to you in deciding upon your purchase.Thanks for reading.
