Works really well - pleasantly surprised
For the price, this is such a nice unit. It can play to the music, has lots of varying light displays it can run, and is very bright. Be aware that you need LOUD BASS to make it work however, so if you are going to use it, be sure to use it at loud parties like weddings in large halls or basement parties - for this purpose, it is amazing. You can test it's ability to work to the music by slapping it rhythmically (yes I know that seems really strange) but that is how to test if it works - it WILL NOT work with just a little bluetooth speaker or a TV up really loud or something - it needs bass. I love it though.

Hello.IMPORTANT: this review is based off of the unit out of box, no DMX just straight up what the unit can do with the buttons on the back!I purchased the ADJ Stinger last week and in came into today and here is what I though while opening the box--First Inpressins:Tall and skinnyVERY HeavyVery study buildHere is some Q and A for some of the other questions asked-Q. Is it loud?A No! It is very quite. Sometimes rattles a little but with music it is unnoticeable!Q. How bright are the strobes?A. They are crazy bright. Just one light will illuminate a 16x15 roomQ. Does it have a wide throw?A. Ehhhh it kinda depends on what you are looking for. It covers a bedroom sized room very well and a small/medium sized dance floor... but large venues you might need two.Q. Does it come with a remote?A. No. In fact there is supposed to be a IRC Remote sold separately, but ADJ has done a very bad job of disclosing which one it is.Q. Does it have everything a DMX light needs?A. As far as I am concerned it does!Q. How sensitive is the sound active mode?A. The sound active mode has a sensitivity 1-100. 1 Will not pickup anything, 100 will hear even the slightest footsteps.Fact: The light has 7 different shows built into the programming. These include Strobe, Moon flower, laser, laser and strobe etc.Fact: strobes are incredibly bright and could be used as blindersFact: the power cable is very shortFact: colors include- Red, Green, Blue, White, Amber, PinkFact: Laser produces several green and red patterns that include- Spinning Atoms, Circles, Flowers and many more but do not stop on any particular one. They keep going in a swift pattern.Fact: Stobe and moon flower projectors are covered with glass casingI hope this review has helped you decided. It is a good light. Quality is good, but because of that, its a bit heavy.

Cool party ligyt
This is the best overall light for small venues. I have it on my patio. Nice array of lights and lasers that is not too bright. It reacts to the music nicely.

Broken in less than a week
Problems 2 days after purchasing. I'm sure it was just bad luck, but I returned the product and got a refund.

Excellent but....
Amazing light. Not sure if it was shotty quality control , in store abuse or damaged in shipping, but one of the strobes don't work.
