Great spatula for pizza dough, sturdy but still flexible
I really love this spatula! I've been making pizza at home quite often lately, and I had a cheaper spatula which made taking the dough out of my proofing box a little difficult. This one is just the right size, and feels well made, with quality materials. It's very solid and sturdy, but still has just enough flexibility to get under the dough when removing from the box. It's easy to clean and seems like it will last a long time. It's not the cheapest spatula out there, but do yourself a favor, spend a couple extra bucks and get a real tool. You won't be sorry.

Essential if you frequently make homemade pizza.
We never buy commercial pizza since buying the pizza oven. Making world class Neapolitan margherita pizza is a long process. But, so worth it! Tools like this go a long way toward making it easier. It's a bit expensive. But, if you make more than one pizza at a time, it's worth it. I can recommend this one wholeheartedly.

Sturdy scraper
This is a bit more expensive than other scrapers, but I think this is worth the price (16 bucks). The handle is an easy to grip polypropylene material, with a good ergonomic shape. The stainless steel blade has just enough flex to make it nimble, but not too much to make it uncomfortable. I definitely like the feel of this thing and the handle allows me to either push it along or pull it toward me.Pros:- Solid materials- Easy to hold- Easy to cleanCons:- Higher price (but worth it)

Perfect
This pizza dough spatula is very easy to use. It scoops up the dough balls with ease and the dough does not stick to the spatula. It is angled to use with the words facing up toward you. There is a noticeable difference if you use it with the words facing down.

Well Made Dough Spatula
I like how this spatula is made. It has a sharp edge for quick cutting, and is very good for gathering the soft dough and releasing the dough ball from the counter top. It has a thin yet sturdy blade made from stainless steel. Well made. Should last a lifetime.

Rings? Sharp edges need work.
UPDATE: The four star review I did below complained that the blade “rings” every time you even barely touch something with it. The ringing persists a long time, like the ringing of a tuning fork. I speculated you could eventually learn to live with it, but I’ve used the product for a month now and I find I can’t live with it. The ringing drives me nuts! So, I bought a second one because I like the feel and balance of the tool, thinking probably the second one wouldn’t ring. The second one (purchased a month or so later) rang as loudly as the first. Rather than send it back, I gave the second one to my daughter and demonstrated the ringing in front of my granddaughter, who thinks the ringing ideal as a play item. Now when my daughter and granddaughter use it together, my granddaughter loves tinging it, which drives my daughter nuts . . .* *. *. *. *. *. *. *. Original review follows:I bought three different metal dough scrapers with handles from Amazon, and this one was by far the best. It’s made in Italy. The blade is flexible in the right amount, seemingly manufactured from a good grade of stainless spring steel. I like it generally, but there are two cautions to mention.Curiously, the blade “rings” in use like a tuning fork. This phenomenon is called “sonority” and is apparently (per Google research) an indicator of purity of the materials in the steel, like a pure crystal wine glass rings. Any touch on the counter produces a ringing (tinging?) of some sort. Even scraping debris off the counter produces a ringing vibration in some degree. It’s a little annoying, but you can work with it.Another issue with this tool is it comes with very sharp edges on the metal, all around the blade. This wouldn’t be much of a problem on a wooden pastry board or counter, however the edges could quickly, easily scratch a marble, granite, silestone or formica countertop. This is a warning: don’t use it without carefully inspecting the blade for burrs and first dulling or deburring the sharp edges. It will scratch countertops if the edges are not softened. I frequently work with metals, and I reworked the sharp edges and corners on mine with a diamond stone before letting it touch my work counter. Doing this takes about 15 minutes when working carefully with the right tools. If you’re buying this as a grill scraper only, the sharp edges are probably preferable and present no problem if you don’t cut yourself. All the above considered, I like the feel, weight and balance of this scraper and I’m sure it’s made of quality steel and will provide decades of good, albeit sonorous service.
