Amazing Clarity; very durable
This outdoor camera is completely awesome. I cannot believe how clear the view was when all my lights were off! I had to test it out inside first because I have to climb two stories to mount it on the outside of my house and I didn't want to do that if it was junk...but WOW! THE CLARITY OF THE NIGHTVISION IS COMPLETELY AMAZING!! I had purchased a bunker hill and it wasn't near as clear as this outdoor camera!! I ended up returning that security system and looks like I will be buying more of these to post around my house so I can monitor my farm! I also want to show to clarity of this camera with only a 40 watt light bulb on... it appears as if it is completely lite up in my room, but nope! Only a small wattage light bulb was use and you can see clear as day! I can't wait to put a bunch of these around my home. I also like that it comes with all cords necessary for whichever kind of set up you wish to use whether it be wifi or Ethernet. The wifi antenna is truly strong! It is a heavy weight and durable outdoor camera that I would recommend to anyone before they go waste their money on a bunker system!! Completely worth every penny!

I spent many hours reading specs and reviews on outdoor 1080p security cameras that work with Alexa. I knew what I wanted but it still took time sorting thru the reviews and questions.My pick was the following.Security Camera Outdoor, COOAU 1080P Wireless Wi-Fi IP Surveillance Cameras with Night Vision, Motion Detection, Activity Alert, 2-Way Audio, IP66 Waterproof, Work with Micro SD Card/Cloud & AlexaIt has a 4.5 star rating on Amazon which is where I purchased the item.A few facts that you should know.1 The location of my router is out of range due to concrete block walls and distance. To help me with Wifi I have a google mesh system 3 units in the house. Even with the mesh the distance made for.poor signal strength. To overcome this I went with 50 feet of Ethernet cat 6 cable. The GoogleUnits have 2 ports each. So I was able to run the cable thru the attic to the soffit where I installedthe camera.2 Setup was easy just follow the instructions in the book provided. My only problem was my fat fingering the password on my phone during setup. This took a while and a call to amazon to resolve. All better now.3 The APP is MIPC skills when setting up on Alexa and mipcm download for your PC.4 It takes a bit of playing around with the app to get comfortable. Note in US we use 60 hz the app is set for 50 hz. Easy change.5 Using on the echo show when you ask to see the camera you can hearwhoever is speaking. YouCannot respond using echo. The way talk is only possible using your phone.6 I have used the customer service email info@cooau.net several times. Response has been Within 24 hours. Very helpful.7 I only have one audio issue that I am working out with customer service. Due to the holidays andme being out of town it remains unresolved. I expect resolution by the first of the year.8 I purchased a samsung 128GB card from amazon. I did not want to use cloud storage works well.9 Picture quality day and night are very good. Still playing with different settings.10 Last but not least are 2 additional cameras I am considering one is a 1080P Pan Tile zoom for inside the house, uses the same MIPC APP and works with Alexa. Another is a battery operated os solarpanel powered camera. For the front door where I have a strong wifi signal. This uses a differentapp and does work with Alexa.Hope all this helps and saves you some reading time looking foe answers to your questions.

Exceeded my expectations!
I bought this camera to monitor my garage when I am out of home. Almost all cameras work like a charm in your local environment, but it turns a nightmare when it comes to see it out of your local network... you need an IT degree to setup them !. However, it was a complete different story with COOAU. I just had to install an app, did a couple of clicks here and there and done. I had not to make any tricky configuration on my router or ISP. The cam it is what you really could name Plug & Play.Image quality is superb !. Externally looks like a pro security cam. It is made of high quality materials, including waterproof connectors.Looking forward to buy another one!

the picture speaks for itself the date and time is correct all I have on is the porch light and its still that good of a picture I don't care too much for the app but that's not what I purchased the camera was and so far it's a great purchase

Not what I expected
The camera is not bad in itself. It's a great price. The picture is good and I am pleased with the night vision. It was easy to install and fits nicely in the space. The distance for the motion sensor only needs to cover the porch. The app needs a few more controls to help with fine-tuning. I could then adjust the setting so that every limb moment from the wind would not set it off. The sound is low but does what we required. The mic is fine. I would like to see more settings overall to get the fine-tuning I need. I have other cameras and the motion sensor is what needs my attention the most on all of them. The problem I feel could be helped by adding more to the app.UpdateSince I posted my review Kevin the general manager has been in contact with me. He is working hard to help fix the problem. He actually listens and asks questions so that he can better serve his customers and put out a better product. He is replacing the camera. I feel that with this kind of dedication to service, this camera will be a good quality investment that is affordable and reliable. Looking forward to the new camera.
