TexereSilk Men's 100% Silk Boxers Underwear - Luxury Under Wear (Country Club)

So, the silk is pretty nice. I got the green one cuz it was a few bucks cheaper. You don't really notice the niceness of the silk until you put it on. Then it feels really nice. But there are four problems with getting this item:1. These things actually ride up in my backside more than my super-short boxers do. May have something to do with there being more material to ride up.2. The tags on the back waistline are not designed to be removed. This is an issue for people with sensitive skin like me, or who want maximum comfort. I removed the tags anyway and it actually removes the waist seam and leaves a big hole. It will probably let all the waist threading come out eventually, but I feel like I won't even wear them with the tags in there so I did it anyway.3. The double-flap front hole system is sort of unnecessary. They should just have a one-flap button system.4. For the above three reasons, there's really no sense in getting one pair of these when I could get three better overall pair at Kohl's for the same price. Those are actually designed to have the tags removed, they ride up less than this pair does, and they have a one-flap system in front. And actually they are really soft too, albeit a different kind of soft.Unless there's some reason you must have this exact silk material, I would not buy. Save some money.P.S. This is a side note that I didn't factor into my review, but these things are actually too smooth. You wouldn't think that's possible, but it is. They were so smooth and frictionless that I actually started to slide out of my office chair while trying to get some work done. It was such a weird thing I started laughing when it happened. But seriously, these boxers didn't have enough friction to keep my behind stationary, whether I was wearing pants or not. I tried it both ways. Be warned. :)SEVERAL MONTHS LATER:The one pair I have has actually become my favorite home pair. I use them for lounging around and when I want to relax. But I would still not wear them outside of the house. They are too slippery and distracting while I'm at work, plus they ride up, and it's hard to pull out wedgies every few minutes when you're in public. But for when I'm at home watching a movie on the couch, I'm not moving around and it doesn't bother me. So I have changed my review from 3 to 4 stars because I feel that while I would not get 7 pairs of these for 7 days of the week, having 2 pair for home seems like a very practical purpose for them.

I only wear them to sleep in at night, and they feel great.

I ordered these years ago and they held up well. However, I recently ordered them again and the build quality is much poorer then I remember. The material appears to be separating in the back. I’ve been in contact with the company.

Never wore silk underwear before, I'm a boxer or boxer brief guy, needed some new ones and didn't really want to go the usual hanes or fruit o the loom route again. Found these on Amazon, bought 2 pair. Holy sweet baby <insert deity here>. They're awesome. Feel great, awesome quality. The only thing I don't like about them is the tag location (right in the middle of the seam that goes down the rear) but I can forgive them for the awesome quality and feel of these.I'm not a huge guy, but I am big. My legs are big from doing a lot of lifting and often boxers are tight on my thighs and I hate it so I went the XL route. My waist is 37/38. XL fit great and are probably even too big. A large would likely be a bit better overall, and unless I fatten up, In the future when I buy more I will go the large route for at least 1 of them to try it out. However, I have no problems at all with these as XL. So they probably run a little big, but the waist fits great due to their quality work. Not loose or falling off, not too tight. Roomy, comfortable, feel absolutely amazing to wear... I can't think of anything more I could ask for from underwear unless it would wash itself so I could always wear it without having to buy more.I also I bought these really not expecting a whole lot (yes, even after reading the reviews). Highly recommended if you or your loved one is a boxer man, I can't recommend them enough.

I wish I could review the product! I suspect either someone else is enjoying a pair of silk boxers, or, the box is traveling around the country, lost. I will give Amazon credit for checking into the situation and refunding my money promptly. I don't know if the company that filled the order (TexereSilk) is to blame, or the delivery folks. This was to be part of an anniversary present for my husband. Our anniversary is on the 14th and there was no time to reorder. (Not sure I would have anyway.) Oh well. Stuff happens.UPDATE: On 10/8, I received an e-mail and phone call from a customer service representative of the TexereSilk company. They were sorry to here that the item I ordered was lost in transit. He explained that the order was fulfilled by Amazon and therefore Amazon was responsible for shipping etc. However - the company wanted to make things right for me and offered to fulfill the order at no cost to me. It should even arrive in time for my anniversary! I think this is outstanding customer service - especially considering they had no part in the shipping. My rating now is for TexereSilk's service. I will update again when I receive the product.FINAL UPDATE 10/30 - These boxers are really nice! My husband and I are impressed with the quality. They are sturdier than what you might expect from silk, and the seams are well sewn. I like that the length is a little longer as well. I highly recommend these boxers and will be ordering more for my husband.
